MultiVersus: Arya Stark Character Guide (Best Perks & Strategies)

The Night King slayer herself – Arya Stark – is one of the original unlockable characters in the new platform fighter, MultiVersus. Similar to her Game of Thrones character, Arya in MultiVersus is an assassin who focuses on dealing combo damage and dodging with swift moves. Players can unlock Arya by spending 3000 Gold Coins or 700 Gleamium at the in-game shop, or by redeeming a Character Ticket, available from Founder’s Packs add-ons. Gleamium is a MultiVersus currency that can only be purchased in bundles from either the in-game store or the Founder’s Packs.

Unlike its competitors, MultiVersus is a free-to-play fighting game. However, it uses microtransactions to encourage players to buy more characters or customizations. At it’s launch, with its original 16 playable characters, players would have had to spend over $200 to unlock all content. Much of this content is unlockable with Gleamium, but it’s possible that the game developers will add more microtransactions in the future. As of now, characters like Arya Stark can be unlocked by earning Gold coins from missions and challenges, so players can earn Arya through MultiVersus gameplay.

Since Arya Stark is an assassin character in MultiVersus, players should focus on quick attacks, combos, and dodging. There are a few Special Perks that will help make Arya’s attacks more useful, so players looking to level up Arya should get her to level 10, unlocking all important Perks.

Best Arya Stark Strategies and Perks in MultiVersus

MultiVersus: Arya Stark Character Guide (Best Perks & Strategies)

Arya’s best moves focus on ground to air combos. She has a variety of buffs and debuffs as well, making her an excellent choice against any character type. She can also copy the opponent’s neutral moves and use them against her foes, making her a difficult fighter to face in combat. The following are Arya’s best moves and Perks for her MultiVersus assassin-type character:

  • Move: Face-Stealer, neutral + special – Arya will grab the opponent and steal their face, which is a reference to her time with the Faceless Men in Game of Thrones, so no need to panic at how gruesome it sounds. Once she takes hold, do the move again to send a stunning shockwave out.
  • Move: Knife-Thrower, side + special – Just like it sounds, Arya throws a knife projectile. It will attach to the opponent, and when doing the move again, Arya will dash to the knife and hit enemies on the way. If players do this move during the cooldown, they will do a spinning stab forward that can break armor, so players should use this move a lot. It’s excellent, strong, can break armor, and does a ton of damage. It also has a great Perk buff:
  • Special Perk: Betrayal – unlocked at level 8, this MultiVersus Special Perk will help allies when Arya hits them with her dagger, giving an enraged buff. Arya will also enrage herself if she dashes to the dagger attached to an ally.
  • Move: Dagger Slash, up + special – Arya swipes her knife overhead, and if she hits an enemy, she will dash in the direction they are knocked into. This will allows players to do great combo moves. Pair this with her basic needle strike, neutral + attack, for some deadly combos.
  • Move: Blade-Sharpener, down + special – Arya will dash to a nearby ally and give herself and the ally a turn buff. This buff causes the next hit to break armor. Paired with a series of combos, and her other Special Perk, Arya can quickly rack up some Ring Outs.
  • Special Perk: Trophy – unlocked at level 10, Arya will automatically obtain the enemy’s face once they are knocked out, mimicking their neutral moves.

MultiVersus is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
