Ms. Marvel: 10 MCU Characters Most Likely To Cameo In The Series

Ms. Marvel: 10 MCU Characters Most Likely To Cameo In The Series

Ms. Marvel adds another key Marvel Comics hero to the MCU with Kamala Khan. Ms. Marvel has strong connections to major heroes in the comics, including her idol, Captain Marvel. It’s very likely that Carol Danvers will cameo in the upcoming series in some form, but there are a number of other characters who could appear, including Monica Rambeau.

There are some MCU characters who could appear that are less obvious, depending on how the story unfolds in the series. Ms. Marvel’s ties to New York City open up a lot of doors to heroes and villains in the city, and her connections in the comics to the Inhumans could be a way to bridge the gap between the MCU and the series featuring the group.

Lockjaw

Ms. Marvel may adjust the origin of Kamala Khan in regards to the Inhumans but there is still a chance that some of the Inhumans characters from Marvel Comics could appear. One of those most closely associated with Ms. Marvel is Lockjaw.

It’s an open question if the Inhumans ABC series is part of the MCU, but if it is, characters from it could appear. Comic book fans know Ms. Marvel basically acted as a dog watcher for the powerful character, and it would be a great way to tie the Inhumans closer into the MCU.

Black Bolt

Anson Mount as Black Bolt and Iwan Rheon as Maximus in Marvel's Inhumans

Black Bolt is the leader of the Inhumans and may not seem likely to cameo in the series, but there is reason to think he could. Comic book fans know The Illuminati is a secret organization Black Bolt belongs to and will appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

With that being the case, there is a possibility that Black Bolt, a founding member of the Illuminati, finds his way into the series. Black Bolt was played by Anson Mount in the ABC series. If the bracelet Kamala Khan wears (and seems to be the source of her MCU powers) has any connection to the Inhumans, he could play a role.

Shang-Chi

Shang-Chi in control of the Ten Rings in the MCU.

The origin of the bracelet could be alien or mystical, and in either case, there is a possibility it’s linked to the mysterious origin of the Ten Rings. Theories abound on the origin of the Ten Rings and that could bring Shang-Chi into the series.

If the bracelet in the series is the source of Ms. Marvel’s powers, there is a chance it comes from the same mysterious source as the Ten Rings. While it might be a stretch, Shang-Chi could conceivably appear if the bracelet becomes a major plot point in the series.

Darcy Lewis

Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis in Thor (2011).

If the bracelet does become a question, that could necessitate someone investigating it, especially if Ms. Marvel gets on the radar of any groups like SWORD or S.H.I.E.L.D. That could lead to Darcy Lewis making a cameo.

Darcy would be a logical character to bring into the series as a scientific and investigative force exploring the mystery of the bracelet as well as the Ten Rings. She was a key part of trying to figure out the Hex in WandaVision.

Kingpin

Given Ms. Marvel’s proximity to New York City, it’s possible that she crosses paths with a number of NYC-based heroes and villains. An intriguing possibility is Kingpin, who recently emerged in the Hawkeye series and is certain to appear again.

Kingpin doesn’t have a major track record with Ms. Marvel in the comics, but given his connections to crime in the city in the MCU, he would be a logical villain for her to run into. It’s notable that the primary villain of the series has yet to be disclosed.

Daredevil

Charlie Cox in Daredevil TV series.

If Ms. Marvel does run into the Kingpin, it’s possible she also crosses paths with Daredevil. Daredevil could appear in a number of MCU projects in the near future, and as a New York City-based hero he would make a lot of sense as a cameo.

If for anyone reason Kamala Khan needs a lawyer then it would make sense for Matt Murdock to appear as he did in a brief but iconic cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Jessica Jones

Another former Netflix Marvel character who could make their debut in the MCU via Ms. Marvel is Jessica Jones. Not only is she is a resident superhero of New York City, but she also has a connection to Captain Marvel that could be a link between Kamala Khan and Carol Danvers.

In the comics, Jessica Jones and Carol Danvers are very close, and this relationship could manifest in the MCU as well. If it does, then Jessica could be a proxy or even a conduit for Kamala to connect with her idol, Captain Marvel.

Kate Bishop

Kamala Khan is one of the most prominent young superheroes in Marvel Comics, and she’s one of a number of young heroes who have appeared in the MCU recently or are about to. One of the most likely to cameo in the series is Kate Bishop.

Though Kate Bishop and Kamala Khan have been associated with different superhero teams — the Young Avengers and Champions, respectively — they could both wind up as Avengers in the MCU. That potential partnership could get kickstarted with a cameo from Kate.

Monica Rambeau

Ms. Marvel will appear in The Marvels, and the road to that movie could be paved with a cameo by Monica Rambeau. One of the most powerful versions of Captain Marvel in the comics, Monica could cross paths with Kamala in the series.

She’s very close, with her last appearance being in Westview, New Jersey. She was also last seen meeting with a Skrull who was disguised as a SWORD agent. It’s possible that Kamala’s bracelet has some extraterrestrial origin, perhaps even being an artifact of Skrull technology.

Captain Marvel

The most likely cameo in the series is Captain Marvel. Carol Danvers is Kamala Khan’s idol in the comics and does make a cameo in the first arc of the 2014 Ms. Marvel comic book series, which the MCU show seems to be following for the most part.

An appearance by Carol would also help set up their eventual team-up in The Marvels. The origin of the bracelet could be the key to bringing Carol back to Earth and to Kamala directly, as well as bringing all three Marvels together for the first time.
