Warning! Spoilers for What If… Miles Morales #4 (of #5) by Marvel Comics

Miles Morales will be getting his own version of Mjolnir as Marvel’s newest God of Thunder, as the teenage hero will become Thor in a brand new adventure. In an all-new tease for What If… Miles Morales #4 by Marvel Comics, a variant of Spider-Man wields a colorful version of Mjolnir tagged with spray paint. Morales is an entirely different kind of Avenger in the alternate universe, trading his web-shooters for Thor’s incredible powers.

This month, Marvel Comics debuted a brand new What If…? five-issue miniseries, which featured rotating creative teams tackling different versions of Miles Morales from across the Multiverse. In What If… Miles Morales #1, Marvel introduced readers to a version of the web-slinger who became Captain America instead. Issue number two will feature Miles Morales becoming Marvel’s new Wolverine. The third chapter will see the hero best known as Spider-Man become a new Hulk. And in the fourth part of the five-issue series, Morales becomes the new Thor – with a unique take on the God of Thunder’s hammer, Mjolnir.

In What If… Miles Morales #4 by Yehudi Mercado and Luigi Zagaria, the story will star a variant of Miles Morales, who is worthy of Mjolnir and becomes his universe’s Thor. While little details have been revealed about the issue so far, the Paco Medina standard Marvel Comics cover features Morales in action. Morales’ new thunderous design masterfully blends Thor with the young hero. Thor can be seen summoning thunder from his hammer on the cover while sitting on a spray-paint-tagged Bifrost.

The design variant from Medina provides a closer look at Miles Morales’ Thor. The What… If variant hero has a spray-painted Mjolnir (with Loki’s name on it), wears a red hood with his chest plate, and has wings (like Thor’s helmet) shaved into his hair.
