Horror director Mike Flanagan has confirmed the full cast for his upcoming adaptation of the Stephen King short story The Life of Chuck, including nine returnees from The Fall of the House of Usher. The story of the film follows Chuck Krantz, starting with his death and going back to his time growing up in a haunted house. This unique way of storytelling is what will make a film adaptation of the tale so compelling.
Now, Mike Flanagan has announced the cast of The Life of Chuck, including several returning actors from his latest Netflix series The Fall of the House of Usher.
In the posts, Flanagan introduces the ensemble cast that will be joining the movie. This includes newcomers to his work like Mia Sara, Benjamin Pajak, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, and Matthew Lillard among others. He also introduced cast members he’s worked with on projects before such as his wife Kate Siegel, as well as Rahul Kohli and Michael Trucco.

Flanagan is no stranger to adapting King’s work into feature length films. The horror director was also behind The Shining sequel film Doctor Sleep, as well as Netflix’s Gerald’s Game movie adaptation. He is also planning to adapt The Dark Tower into a TV series, taking on the challenge of bringing King’s magnum opus to the small screen.
When it comes to The Life of Chuck, the horror director has already cast Loki’s Tom Hiddleston as the titular character.
