Michael Douglas stars as Benjamin Franklin in the first trailer for Apple TV’s Franklin. Serving as an adaptation of A Great Improvisation: Franklin, France, and the Birth of America by Stacy Schiff, the upcoming historical drama chronicles the titular figure’s engineering of the Franco-American Alliance in 1778. Douglas, who is known for movies like Fatal Attraction, Wall Street, and Ant-Man, also serves as an executive producer on the project.
