MCU: 5 Characters Who Could Survive In A Quiet Place Part 2 (& 5 Who Couldn’t)

MCU: 5 Characters Who Could Survive In A Quiet Place Part 2 (& 5 Who Couldn’t)

The trick to surviving within the world of A Quiet Place Part II is having the ability to adapt, stay on the edge of their toes, and of course, be quiet. This is a crucial situation for anybody and while the characters within the Marvel world all have unique abilities that would likely be able to compete against the alien creatures, in order to survive, it would take a lot more.

Some of the characters are perfectly equipped to stay alive, just like the Abbott family. Being able to think outside the box and do whatever is necessary by working as a team or by always helping others. However, that isn’t the case with every Marvel character, with some clearly not being built to survive such a situation when considering the aliens of A Quiet Place‘s universe to be as deadly for the heroes as they are for everyone else.

Could Survive: Black Widow

MCU: 5 Characters Who Could Survive In A Quiet Place Part 2 (& 5 Who Couldn’t)

Patient, calm, and great at knowing what to do under pressure, Black Widow would be perfect within the world of A Quiet Place. She’s agile and has proven that she has no problem in tackling monsters much bigger than herself, and she is smart enough to be able to duck and dive out of the way in the line of fire.

Black Widow would likely do well in creating an area to hunker down and hide, however, just like Lee Abbott, she would probably be coming up with a plan of attack in an attempt to save herself and improve the situation.

Couldn’t Survive: Hulk

Hulk fighting in the Battle of New York in The Avengers

Bruce Banner would likely thrive within the setting A Quiet Place as he is such an intelligent person that he’d constantly be creating different ideas to help the situation. However, with Bruce Banner also comes the Hulk, and sadly he’s not always in control of that situation.

Whenever he gets angry, which would likely be quite often in this scenario, the green guy would come out to play, and with that comes a lot of noise. While Hulk might be able to handle a few of the aliens on his own, ultimately, this would be his downfall.

Could Survive: Quicksilver

Quicksilver in Avengers Age of Ultron

Quicksilver might not have been around for long in the MCU, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t survive within the setting of A Quiet Place. He’s naturally quite a shy person, therefore not having lots of conversations would suit him perfectly.

Plus, his power is ideal for this world. Even if one of the alien creatures ended up finding him, Quicksilver has the pace to simply get away from them and find a new location to hide in, which should allow him to survive.

Couldn’t Survive: Groot

guardians of the galaxy groot

It doesn’t matter which version of Groot is around, whether it be the baby, teenage, or adult version, Groot is a character that would struggle to survive. The young version of the character relies upon someone else to look after him, which means on his own there is no chance.

Meanwhile, the teenage version of Groot is simply too grumpy and lazy to cooperate with anybody else to try and survive, while the adult version is a very large character that isn’t going to fit in many spots for hiding, which creates a tough situation overall.

Could Survive: Hawkeye

Hawkeye shoots three arrows from his bow in the MCU

Something that Hawkeye is excellent at is showcasing stealth and quietness, which is how he’s able to stand in the shadows, watching over the situation. Early on in the MCU, Hawkeye is literally shown hiding in the rooftops, and that’s something that would work well for him here.

His ability to hide and the fact he can take out enemies from a distance means that he would be able to protect himself from the aliens. He’s a family man and someone who is dedicated to protecting them, which is why he’d likely do well here, being similar to the Abbott family in creating a great setting for them to thrive in.

Couldn’t Survive: Loki

Loki arriving at the desert planet and looking confused

Loki is a great character, but he’s also somebody who is extremely arrogant. He has no problem in confronting enemies and trying to simply talk his way out of a situation, telling everyone how powerful he is. But just like his famous encounter with Hulk, telling these aliens that information wouldn’t end well for him.

Loki can often talk himself into trouble and that’s something that he would likely do in this situation. Sitting patiently and hiding out isn’t really in his makeup, as Loki enjoys standing out in a crowd, which doesn’t work in this world.

Could Survive: Dr. Strange

Doctor Strange in the middle of a battle.

Much like Hawkeye, Dr. Strange has no problem in staying in the shadows, keeping quiet, and observing a situation. This is something that he learns how to do after his accident when he begins to develop his abilities, and that would serve him well in this environment.

Being an intelligent person, he should be able to work out what is needed in order to survive, plus his medical background would work well if there were any injuries to deal with. As well as that, he has the ability to look ahead and see every single scenario and how things could play out, meaning he would potentially be able to work out how to save everybody.

Couldn’t Survive: Spider-Man

Peter Parker in his suit without his mask

Spider-Man certainly has the agility and the nimble movement to stay quiet when it the suit, which would work well for him. However, the issue for him is the fact that Peter Parker himself cannot stay quiet no matter how hard he tries.

He’s talkative and has tons of energy, and when not in the suit he can be quite a clumsy person. In a world where the need is for silence, Peter Parker would be a disaster to have around, and that’s why he wouldn’t be able to survive.

Could Survive: Iron Man

Iron Man flying near Empire State building

In a crisis, there are few people better than Tony Stark. While he can also be quite a talkative person, he’s more mature than Peter Parker and would know to quieten down in this particular crisis. He’s got the intelligence and the experience factors to really make a difference in this situation.

Tony isn’t just someone who can think of big ideas, he can create them as well. That’s shown countless times in the MCU, with Tony creating tons of new ideas and that is something that would really help him within this situation, as he could build something to both protect himself, and possibly destroy the aliens.

Couldn’t Survive: Thor

Thor admits he isn't strong enough

Thor is a naturally loud and powerful character and while that works perfectly in the Marvel world in destroying his enemies, that isn’t the same in A Quiet Place. Thor’s love for making noise could cost him in this world, especially because he can be quite hot-tempered.

He likes to solve problems with fighting, and that isn’t something that really works here. The aliens are too quick and strong to just be taken down by brute force alone. Thor’s love for punching first and thinking second just wouldn’t click in this world and while The God of Thunder could perhaps survive the aliens’ attacks, he’d lose everyone he cared for.
