MBFFL: Why Fans Can’t Wait For Buddy Bell To Get Married

Since the news broke that My Big Fat Fabulous Life star Buddy Bell was off the market, the show’s viewers have been impatiently waiting for his nuptials to take place. Buddy has always been the comic relief within his group of friends. For years, fans thought that he and Whitney Way Thore would fall in love, but fate had other plans.

As My Big Fat Fabulous Life followers will recall, Buddy and Whitney have been best friends since college. During earlier seasons, the two often joked that if neither was married by the age of 40, they would tie the knot. They’ve remained close through thick and thin, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Whitney actually ended up inviting Buddy to Charlotte, NC, so they could self-isolate together. Even though there may be a new woman in My Big Fat Fabulous Life‘s Buddy Bell’s life, it looks like Whitney fully supports her Greensboro friend, and is also waiting for their wedding.

When Is Buddy Bell’s Wedding

Buddy recently posted engagement photos of him and his soon-to-be bride, Courtney Renee Marsh. Buddy shared on his social media that he would be walking down the aisle on October 30, 2023, leaving My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans hoping that TLC films the big day for the new season. The couple met back in November 2021, and got serious quickly. They have been living together ever since. Buddy and Courtney have a French bulldog named Scout, who will be the ring bearer.

MBFFL Fans Congratulate The Couple

Viewers couldn’t help but share the fact that they are proud of Buddy, and how far he has come. In earlier seasons, he shared that he lived with drug addiction, and even moved to Georgia to escape his old haunts for a while. Fans shared positive words, and many wished him and Courtney a, “bright future” ahead. Courtney and Buddy are perfect for one another, and people who follow the show are wondering if Whitney will be asked to be in the bridal party.

Another season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life has yet to be announced, but the network usually likes to wait until the last minute to reveal the news. The season ended in October, so if the network has decided to film Buddy and Courtney’s wedding, producers will have to push back their typical filming schedule. Fans hope that the couple agrees to have their big day televised, as so many of them have been sharing Buddy’s MBFFL journey since day one.
