Maya Rudolph Sings Karaoke In Big Hero 6 The Series Season 3 Finale Exclusive Clip

Maya Rudolph takes the stage singing karaoke in an exclusive clip from the season 3 finale of Big Hero 6 The Series. Rudolph voices Aunt Cass in both the Big Hero 6 movie and TV series. The Disney superhero show released in 2017 and is based on the 2014 Big Hero 6 movie. Marvel published a comic book series of the same title on which the movie is based.

Big Hero 6 The Series now airs on Disney XD and DisneyNOW. The series follows the main character named Hiro Hamada, a 14-year-old tech savant. He is, of course, joined by the friendly white robot named Baymax, who was built by Hiro’s brother before his passing. Hiro is also looked after by his Aunt Cass. The series takes viewers along on Hiro and Baymax’s adventures as they attempt to save their city from villains with help from some highly-advanced technology. Big Hero 6 The Series premiered its third and final season in September 2020.

Disney XD shares the exclusive clip from the upcoming series finale. The video features Aunt Cass giving a show-stopping karaoke performance. The episode marks the first time Emmy Award-winner Rudolph, who is talented at both singing and acting, has performed a song in the series. The music-filled first part of the finale is called “Krei-oke Night,” while the second is titled “The Mascot Upshot.” The character Alistair Krei, CEO of Krei Tech, invented the karaoke machine that accompanies Aunt Cass in the clip of her performance. The episode will also feature other characters giving their own musical performances, including Professor Granville (Jenifer Lewis), Honey Lemon (Genesis Rodriguez), and Wasabi (Khary Payton). Rudolph does not hold back in this clip and appears to entertain the whole city with her dazzling number. Though this is the series finale, it is not yet time to close the door on Big Hero 6; a Baymax TV show is headed to Disney+ in 2022.

It is probably safe to say by now that Rudolph can basically do it all. Her talents stretch from comedy to drama and even to bringing a unique spark to animated characters like Aunt Cass. She will showcase her talent in the Big Hero 6 world one last time when the finale airs, and her karaoke performance is a nice sendoff to the character. Having things end on a musical note seems like the appropriate way to wrap up such a fun series. It really has been an exciting three seasons, with Hiro and Baymax’s adventures, the drama brought on by high-tech villains, a DuckTales crossover event, and now the musical episode. The series finale of Big Hero 6 The Series will air on Disney XD and DisneyNOW on February 15.
