Marvel’s Avengers now includes a wealth of MCU costumes for players to buy or unlock, but its next skin should be an MCU version of the Ronin suit for Kate Bishop. While the game has been releasing a plethora of new MCU outfits over the past few weeks, with the latest being Marvel’s Avengers’ take on the Iron Man 3 suit for Tony Stark, Kate Bishop is still lacking in MCU outfit options. While this is somewhat understandable, considering that the character is relatively new to the MCU, there are still several outfit options that Crystal Dynamics can include for Kate Bishop just from the Hawkeye show alone. One of these options is to include Hawkeye’s Ronin suit being worn by Kate Bishop, as she did several times in the show.
Clint Barton’s Ronin suit was very recently added into the game, fulfilling many Hawkeye players’ wish of having a version of the suit with the mask and overcoat. Although Marvel’s Avengers’ Ronin skin received a fair bit of criticism due to its similarities with the already released Avengers: Endgame skin for Hawkeye, many fans did praise the suit’s film accuracy and overall design. Adapting the skin for Kate Bishop could make fans of the character really happy, seeing as they currently only have one MCU skin to choose from. This is contrasted with Clint Barton’s whopping five MCU skins, currently the most MCU skins of any character in the game.
In addition to only having a single MCU skin in the game, many fans of the character have spoken out against the lack of screen accuracy with her MCU look. In particular, players have criticized Marvel’s Avengers’ inaccurate hair for Kate Bishop’s MCU skin. Some even argued that Fortnite managed to make a much more accurate version of the skin, despite not being a solely Marvel-focused game. Adding a Ronin skin for Kate Bishop would not only give players another MCU option to play as for the character, but it could also help them to avoid another hair controversy, as the Ronin suit would hide her hair and majority of her face, something that helped to cause the mix-up that set-in motion the events of the Hawkeye show.
Why Kate Bishop Should Have The Ronin Suit In Marvel’s Avengers
Since Kate Bishop’s MCU debut was in the recently released Hawkeye show, all of her MCU-inspired outfits in Marvel’s Avengers have to take inspiration from the show, at least until she makes another appearance in another MCU film or series. Luckily, there are a few outfits from the series that would make interesting additions to Marvel’s Avengers, with few being more memorable than the Ronin outfit. Its design is very distinctive and contrasts with Kate’s typical purple-themed outfits. In addition, many fans who enjoy playing the game with a friend might enjoy matching their Ronin suit with a friend’s Clint Barton’s Ronin suit, as well as potentially being a hit for fans that enjoy using the game’s popular photo mode to recreate their favorite scenes from MCU films.
While Kate Bishop’s Ronin suit would likely be a popular pick in the in-game marketplace, it might also be a solid choice as a limited-time reward from Marvel’s Avengers’ Shipments system. Recently, the featured skins (which are limited-time skins that can either be earned randomly from buying Shipments or guaranteed after 100 Shipments) have been MCU-inspired skins, with the last two being Hawkeye’s Captain America: Civil War outfit and Iron Man’s Iron Man 3 armor. If Marvel’s Avengers was to add a Ronin skin for Kate Bishop, making it the featured skin in a future round of Shipments might be the perfect place for it.
