Marvel Producer Explains Controversial Madame Web Post-Credits Scene Choice

As Dakota Johnson gets ready to bring the titular Marvel heroine to life in Madame Web, one of the producers is opening up on their decision with the post-credits scene.

In a recent interview with Comic Book, Madame Web producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura was asked if there would be a post-credits scene. Despite this happening in a lot of superhero movies today, di Bonaventura revealed that there would actually not be a Madame Web post-credits scene, sharing the following:

It wasn’t a conscious decision to say ‘We’re not going going to do that since everybody else does it,’ but we really liked having the ambiguity of it and having the promise of it that stood hand to hand where that other piece would then solidify it in a certain direction.
