At the time of filming, Molly was 25 years old and a commercial insurance adjuster. Initially, Molly and Jonathan seemed to be a match made in heaven. Fans believed the Married At First Sight matchmakers had nailed Molly’s pairing, as she and Jonathan quickly realized they had several hobbies and interests in common. Unfortunately, their relationship faced a steep decline after their first days as newlyweds. Jonathan admitted he was getting mixed signals from Molly, who claimed her husband was a “man-child.” Molly and Jonathan demonstrated that marrying strangers on Married At First Sight can have disastrous effects.

Shortly after Molly and Jonathan decided they were not going to continue their relationship on Decision Day, news broke that Molly’s ex-husband was in a relationship with Molly’s former relationship expert, Dr. Jessica Griffin. Jonathan and Jessica are currently living the life Molly hoped for when she signed up for Married At First Sight, as they are happily engaged. In April 2020, Molly appeared on the reunion special, Married At First Sight: Where Are They Now?. Molly explained she was angry at Jonathan and Jessica after season 6. Molly said that “it kind of sucked” to find out about Jonathan and Jessica, but she has moved. Molly stated there’s “no reason to hold onto any of that negativity.” While Molly was never considered Married At First Sight‘s ultimate villain, she has learned to ignore the hate. According to her Instagram, Molly is enjoying the single life with friends.
Molly had a harrowing journey on Married At First Sight, but she has changed her ways since season 6. After Decision Day, Molly learned to let go of audiences’ views of her, as well as the anger she felt for Jonathan and Dr. Jessica. While Molly doesn’t have any plans to tie the knot again soon, it’s a safe bet she will steer clear of Married At First Sight.
