Fans of Married At First Sight seem to have wished the Olivia Cornu and Henry Rodriguez pairing into existence. Although Olivia and Henry both walked down the aisle with partners who looked like their soulmates, the Lifetime show’s social experiment fizzled out fast. Brett Lindsay became the #1 villain of the show, and Christina claimed that her husband Henry was gay. Olivia and Henry’s failed marriages led Married At First Sight viewers to pair them up instead. Now, it seems like this MAFS “ship” might finally be a “thing.”
Out of the five couples on Married At First Sight season 5, three decided to live their happily ever afters on Decision Day. The unlucky ones included Olivia, 30, and Brett, 35. They initially seemed quite smitten with each other, until it was honeymoon hour. The communication between Olivia and Brett from MAFS was a disaster, and money matters were miserable. Brett, who’d admittedly dated 45 women in the past, left Olivia heartbroken (and without food) during the pandemic. A similar fate awaited Henry, 35, and Christina, 30, who were awkward since day one. Their 16 weeks of experimental marriage was a Married At First Sight fail, and the alleged text message about the shy Henry being gay was used by Christina to “threaten” him. The couple mutually parted ways, leaving Olivia and Henry potentially single by the end of it all. Many Married At First Sight fans were convinced that the experts had “switched” their applications, but it looks like Cupid is already at work for Olivia and Henry.
The “apparently awkward” Henry seems to be coming out of his shell, all thanks to his new friend and Married At First Sight castmate Woody Randall. Woody, who’s happily married to Amani Aliyya, witnessed Henry’s marriage “spiraling out of control.” Fans think he has helped his “Hendawg” hook up with Olivia off-camera. Olivia took to her Olivia Cornu Instagram to share a post-show update with her new family, from a dinner at Zocalo Cocona Mexicana & Cantina. Flanked by her castmates Woody, Amani, Karen, and Miles, Olivia stands close to Henry in the picture. If the fan reactions are to be gauged, this does look like a mini Married At First Sight reunion, plus a triple date for the couples. The solo selfie strategically shared by Olivia seems to be hinting at a possible couple situation with Henry. While the two Married At First Sight stars might just want to take things slow given their tumultuous previous relationships, the predictions made by the fans are perhaps perfectly true.
