Jonathan Majors’ Magazine Dreams, which was getting Oscar buzz, receives an update after the actor’s trial verdict.
Disney delayed Magazine Dreams indefinitely back in October, and in a new report, insider tip sheet “What I’m Hearing” at Puck says the company is in no hurry to make a decision on whether to release the film. The report speculates that Disney could invoke morals clauses to avoid paying the film’s financiers the $2 million minimum it promised when Searchlight acquired the well-reviewed movie for distribution out of Sundance.
