Lucasfilm’s Dave Filoni Confirmed To Be Working On Ahsoka Season 2 Outline

Ahoksa star Rosario Dawson teases that creator Dave Filoni is hard at work on the show’s season 2 outline. Premiering on Disney Plus this past summer, the latest Star Wars show chronicles the titular Jedi’s investigation of a new threat emerging in the galaxy, introducing live-action versions of characters like Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen), Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), among others. The show earned positive reviews from critics, but, following the Ahsoka season 1 finale in early October, Disney has not yet announced season 2.

Now, in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Dawson reveals that, despite Ahsoka season 2 not yet having officially been green lit, Filoni is working away at crafting the larger story arcs for the show’s sophomore outing. Check out Dawson’s full comment below:

“I mean, they’ve not said anything officially, but I remember when we were at Star Wars Celebration in London and they were like, ‘We’re giving Dave a movie!’ And I was like, ‘I kind of feel like that means we’re probably going to get a second season.’ For a while now, and especially now with the strike and everything, no one can say anything. But he did say he was working on an outline. So, we’ll see.”
