Love, Victor: 10 Questions Fans Have After Watching Season 2

Love, Victor: 10 Questions Fans Have After Watching Season 2

The highly anticipated second season of Hulu’s Love, Victor released in June 2021 and the season did not disappoint. Fans will remember that the first season of the Love, Simon spin-off series ended on a major cliffhanger with Victor telling his family that he’s gay. Luckily, season two picks up right where season one left off and fans didn’t have to wait to see how his family would react to the news.

Now that Victor has accepted his own sexuality, it should be smooth sailing for him, but of course, that’s not the case. Just like season one, season two is full of high and low moments as Victor navigates high school as a now openly gay student. Victor isn’t the only one who’s going through rough times though. With so much going on in just ten episodes it was only fitting that season two ended with lots of questions leaving fans hoping that the series will get renewed.

Whose House Did Victor Run To?

Much like season one, season two of Love, Victor has Victor involved in another love triangle of sorts, only this time it’s between Benji and Rahim, Pilar’s best friend. The drama is heightened when Benji crashes Mia’s dad’s wedding to find Victor slow dancing with Rahim.

Confused and lost, Victor confides in Felix who gives him some much-needed advice that sends Victor racing through the neighborhood to the door of his one true love before the series ends. But whose door is he at? Well, that’s a question fans are begging to know the answer to.

Will We Ever Meet Rahim’s Family?

One of the only new faces this season was Rahim, Pilar’s best friend and another fellow gay student at Creekwood High. Like Victor, Rahim is scared to come out to his religious Muslim family because he’s not sure how they’ll react, and so he turns to Victor for advice.

Rahim becomes such an integral part of season two that fans are hoping they get to learn more about him and his family in season three. Especially after Rahim confides in Victor that he came out to his parents and that it went extremely well.

Will Isabel Ever Attend A PFLAG Meeting?

Many thought Armando would be the parent to push back on Victor’s sexuality but actually, it was Isabel who had the hardest time with Victor’s sexuality. In fact, Armando even tries to get Isabel to attend one of his PFLAG meetings — a support group for parents with LGBTQ kids.

While Isabel does try to attend a meeting she ends up running out when she watched Armando flirting with another mother. Now that the two of them are on good terms, fans are hopeful that Isabel will attend a PFLAG meeting to further understand that Victor’s sexuality isn’t a problem that needs to be fixed.

Will Victor Ever Write To Simon Again?

A large part of season one of Love, Victor involved Victor messaging Simon Spier through various social media apps. Simon, the protagonist of Love, Simon, became Victor’s confidant when it came to figuring out his sexuality and his relationships with his new friends at Creekwood.

While Victor continued to message Simon this season there seemed to be less of a connection between the two as Simon didn’t always respond as quickly as Victor had hoped. When Simon finally does call Victor, Victor tells him that he thinks he’s ready to figure things out on his own. While this is a major moment for Victor, fans are worried that this will be the last time they ever get to see Simon.

Is Mia Going To Have To Move?

Mia had another pretty dramatic season this time around, leaving many fans praying that she will eventually find happily ever after. Unfortunately, the more pressing question at hand is whether or not Mia will still be in Creekwood if the show gets a season 3.

Though Mia tried to convince her dad not to take a job at Stanford that would uproot her life, he ultimately decided to take it, leaving Mia in a less than ideal situation. Considering she’s a minor, the chances of her having to move seem likely unless her dad has a change of heart.

Does Lake Have Feelings For Lucy?

Lake and Lucy at Mia's dad's wedding

Lake had one of the most surprising journeys of any of the characters this season. At the start of the season, she was happily dating and in love with Felix, whom she got together with at the end of season one. However, after overstepping her boundaries, Felix breaks up with her, leaving Lake once again single.

Heartbroken doesn’t even begin to describe how Lake is feeling until she runs into Lucy, Andrew’s ex-girlfriend, at Mia’s dad’s party. Now both single, the two seem to hit it off in more than just a platonic way. This has left many fans wondering if Lake is going to begin to question her own sexuality and whether or not her feelings for Lucy are purely platonic.

Will Mia’s Mom Be Happy To See Her?

In addition to learning that her father has been offered and accepted a job at Stanford University, Mia is also grappling with the news that her estranged mother wants to meet with her. While Mia originally turns down the idea, her argument with her father forces her to reconsider.

In the final moments of the season, Mia is sitting in the car with her boyfriend Andrew as the two drive to meet her mother. Of course, this has sparked many fans to wonder if Mia’s mom will truly be happy to see her or if her arrival will be shocking.

Will Felix and Pilar Make It Work?

Victor wasn’t the only character who found himself in a love triangle this season. In fact, his best friend Felix also caught the eye of two equally amazing young women: Lake and Pilar. After breaking up with Lake, Felix bonds with Pilar, who has always been there for him.

It isn’t until the final episode that Felix learns just how much Pilar likes him and how much he means to her. Thankfully, he comes to his senses and the two share an epic kiss. However, that is where their story ends, which has left many wondering if Felix and Pilar are going to make things official.

Are Isabel and Armando Back Together For Good?

Victor’s parents Armando and Isabel have had a rocky marriage since the show began and fans learned that Isabel had an affair which prompted them to move to Creekwood. The two decided to try a separation which played out during season two and brought all the drama.

However, after Isabel learns to accept Victor’s sexuality and opens up to Armando, things start looking up for these two. While there is no denying that Isabel and Armando still have a lot to work out, it seems like they’ve realized that they are the only ones for each other. At least, that’s what fans are hoping for.

Will Veronica Have A Successful Birth?

Despite being an integral antagonist in Mia’s life, Veronica has yet to properly be utilized in Love, Victor. However, this season she did get a bit more screentime now that she is also pregnant with Mia’s half-sibling.

Mia is still apprehensive around Veronica, but when Veronica starts experiencing pain, Mia steps up to the plate and rushes her to the hospital to get her checked out. It’s there that the two share a heart-to-heart where Veronica admits that she’s had a miscarriage before. With the news of her prior pregnancies, fans are hopeful that this time will be different for Veronica and Mia will get to be a big sister.
