Laurel Goldman of Love Island USA season 2 has been out of the villa for a couple weeks now. She was paired up with Carrington Rodriguez on the show, but what has she been up to since?
Laurel entered Love Island during the Casa Amor twist. About halfway through the season, she came in with four other girls to tempt the guys away from their partners. Although she initially had her eye on Calvin Cobb, Laurel was swept off her feet by Carrington Rodriguez. He decided to take her back to the villa despite being coupled up with Kierstan Saulter. The two continued to grow closer in the villa until Julia Hall and Lakeyn Call entered the villa. Both girls decided to take Carrington on dates, and he formed a connection with Lakeyn. The days until the re-coupling were tense for Laurel, but Carrington ultimately chose her at the final re-coupling. They made it through the final dumping and finished fourth in the final.
Since leaving the villa, Laurel has been keeping her fans updated on Instagram. She celebrated her 22nd birthday the day after the Love Island final. The islanders who participated in the finale stayed in Las Vegas for a few days before flying home, so they celebrated Laurel’s birthday together at Caesar’s Palace. The other couples in the finale were Moira Tumas and Calvin Cobb, Cely Vasquez and Johnny Middlebrooks, and winners Caleb Corprew and Justine Ndiba. After leaving Las Vegas, Laurel headed home to Auburn, Alabama, to see her family. She also frequently visits Atlanta.
On the business side of things, Laurel is embracing social media influencing. She keeps her Instagram up to date with throwbacks to Love Island as well as some new modeling shots. Laurel also recently announced that she was returning to YouTube. She has a channel called “Laurel Goldman,” but only posted one video two years ago. She recently asked her followers what her first video should be. Laurel and Carrington haven’t made an official statement about their relationship status, but they have been leaving flirty comments on each others’ Instagram posts. On a post of Laurel’s featuring her in an open Levi’s jean jacket, Carrington wrote, “It’s the no bra for me. Iconic,” to which Laurel replied, “had to post ur fav.” On a sexy snap of Carrington shirtless, Laurel wrote, “father my kids plz,” and Carrington replied, “yes plz” with a tongue out emoji. Safe to say they are still feeling the sparks.
We’ll see what she does next, but with Laurel’s business smarts she should be all set to make a living off of influencing. She and Carrington are an Instagram power-couple.
