Cinco and Will Moncada shook things up on Love Island USA season 3 and broke up two pairings that had coupled up during the premiere episode. After the first recoupling of the season, it’s starting to look like a lot of early relationships in the villa aren’t as secure as they initially appeared to be. The islanders were putting a lot of faith behind Shannon St Pierre and Josh Goldstein, but she’s making it clear that she doesn’t want to put all her eggs in the same basket. It also seemed like Trina Njoroge was very interested in Jeremy Hershberg at first, but her head seems to be slightly turning in other directions.
After how quickly Kyra Lizama left Korey Gandy for Will, and how quickly Cashay Proudfoot left Christian Longnecker for Cinco, it looks like the girls of Love Island USA season 3 are not that sold yet on their current partners. In turn, the boys are starting to take notice of that, and it might affect their decision-making process if a new girl walks into the villa. Judging by the preview for episode 3, it seems like a new girl will be entering the villa… and that might turn quite a few heads considering how shaky these relationships still are.

Love Island USA season 3 episode 3 will air Friday, July 9 at 9pm ET/PT on CBS. This will be a one-hour episode, just like episode 2. Episode 3 will usher in the first weekend of Love Island USA season 3, but the fans won’t be getting a new episode on Saturday night. It won’t be until Sunday that the viewers will get to watch episode 4 on CBS.

Previously on Love Island, the islanders survived – barely – their first recoupling. Christian lost Cashay Proudfoot to Cinco, and it looks like Cashay and Cinco are a much better match. Moreover, Korey Gandy lost Kyra Lizama to Will Moncada, and it appears that Kyra is very into Will. Perhaps more surprisingly, however, episode 2 made it clear that Shannon St Claire isn’t as invested in Josh Goldstein as he might be in her. This second episode also featured a lot of cracks in Javonny Vega’s relationship with Olivia Kaiser, and Jeremy Hershberg isn’t very secure with Trina Njoroge, either. After the recoupling, Korey and Christian became the two singled-out boys of the villa. All eyes are on them now to win over their former partners or establish new connections on Love Island USA.
