Love Island USA: Josh Goldstein Celebrates His Late Sister’s Birthday

Love Island USA star Josh Goldstein took to Instagram to celebrate the birthday of his late sister Lindsey Beth Goldstein. For most of the show, Josh had one of the smoothest journeys over the course of Love Island USA season 3. He coupled up with Shannon St Claire on day one, and aside from very few misunderstandings, Josh and Shannon were a very solid couple in the villa. In fact, they were shoo-ins to get to the grand finale.

Unfortunately, Josh was informed by Love Island producers that his sister, Lindsey Beth, passed away while he was filming the season. This heartbreaking announcement obviously led to Josh departing from the villa to be with his family, and Shannon also left the show to be by his side during this tragic time. It wasn’t clear if Josh and Shannon had what it took to win season 3 at the finale, but there was no doubt that they’d get to the end and would definitely place high.

Josh Goldstein and Shannon St Claire have been inseparable since they left the Love Island USA villa in Hawaii, and they clearly went through the mourning of Josh’s sister together as a couple. From time to time, Josh has taken to social media to talk about his sister, Lindsey Beth, in a few different ways. Now, Josh took to Instagram to celebrate his late sister’s birthday. As seen in the screenshots below, Josh shared a series of Instagram Stories in his sister’s memory. “Happy 28th birthday to my guardian angel. Keep watching over us with that infectious smile,” he wrote in the first IG Story. “Love you foverer best friend,” he added.

Later in the day, Josh shared a quick video (screenshots above) of him exercising outside and his sister joining him in. Lindsey made funny faces in the video and comically acted out as if she was struggling to hold onto a free weight. “Miss your goofy self,” he captioned the video, “Fly high sis.” Josh’s last Instagram Story about his late sister’s birthday included a cute photo of her smiling. “Happy birthday beautiful angel. Thank you for bringing me my person. Celebrating you today queen Linds.” For context, Lindsey was a huge Love Island fan and actively encouraged Josh to go on the show. She was reportedly very excited to watch Josh on her favorite show and really liked Shannon as his partner in the villa.

This has been an incredibly turbulent time for Josh, the Goldstein family, and even Shannon. Alas, the fans of Love Island USA have sent them nothing but love and support. Moreover, Josh’s Instagram Stories definitely did justice to his late sister.
