With Love Island UK star Maura Higgins returning as the series social ambassador and UK-based host Maya Jama coming in as the face of the series, Love Island Games will bring a new feel to the classic Love Island style of reality TV dating. The teaser revealed the cast members of Love Island Games season 1, which includes two former couples: Cely Vazquez & Johnny Middlebrooks from Love Island USA season 2 and Mitch Hibberd & Tina Provis from Love Island Australia.
Who Will Appear On Love Island Games Season 1?
Although there’s about a month until the premiere of Love Island Games season 1, the cast has already been announced. Alongside Cely and Johnny, the Love Island USA alumni include Scott Van-der Sluis, Kyra Green, Ray Gantt, Justine Ndiba, Carrington Rodriguez, Deb Chubb, Courtney Boerner, Zeta Morrison, and Imani Wheeler. Love Island UK cast members include Eyal Booker, Georgia Steel, Jack Fowler, Megan Barton-Hanson, Curtis Pritchard, Mike Boateng, Liberty Poole, and Toby Aromolaran. Rounding out the cast will be Jessica Losurdo from Love Island Australia, Steph Blackos from Love Island France, Lisa Celander from Love Island Sweden, and Aurelia Lamprecht from Love Island Germany.
The Love Island Games cast will be tasked with competitions like they’ve never seen before, competing in couples competitions and team competitions throughout the duration of the season. While they’ll all be looking for love and hoping to form a bond with a fellow Islander, there is also a cash prize on the line that each Islander is hoping to win. Love Island Games will stream exclusively on Peacock, and though the schedule has yet to be set, it will begin on November 1 and run 6 nights per week, similarly to the way Love Island USA season 5 operated.
With a huge new group of Islanders who are coming together with experiences like never before, Love Island Games will likely be an exciting style of competition that will push the drama to all-new heights. As the Islanders all have experience on Love Island themselves, their time on Love Island Games won’t be without some strategy.
