Zack Goytowski is one of the most discussed Love Is Blind season 4 newcomers, and he is now being roasted after being caught in an embarrassing lie. The 31-year-old criminal defense attorney was caught between his affections for kind-hearted Bliss Poureetezadi and “vicious” Irina Solomonova, who is being hailed as a season villain alongside her friend Micah Lussier. While Zack controversially chose Irina over Bliss, Love Is Blind fans are now calling him out for a different slip-up.
TikTok user @wigburg4ever shared a clip of Zack courting Irina in what the user called, “One of the most embarrassing things you will ever see in your whole life.” “So I wrote you a song,” Love Is Blind’s Zack said to Irina in the clip before proceeding to sing the exact lyrics to what the TikTok user proved was “Sara’s Song” by the band Ludo.
“Zack from season 4 is a liar and a thief,” the TikTok user wrote after exposing him for claiming the band’s song as his own. “When I say, I was in the fetal position due to the secondhand embarrassment. that wouldn’t given me the ick so fast!!!” one top commenter wrote
Is Love Is Blind Newcomer Zack Misunderstood?
While Zack has overall received a divided response from Love Is Blind season 4 viewers, fans appeared in agreement that being caught with the stolen song lyrics was cringe. “As if no one’s going to find the song with ‘Blarney Stone’ in the lyrics??” one confused user wrote. However, Zack has already addressed his slip up in an Instagram comment, shared on Reddit by u/HeatherDiamdem. “I credited the song to them,” he wrote before blaming editing. “Probably one of my top five most embarrassing moments,” he admitted. “He actually said on his ig that he did credit them but the producers cut it out. He was joking about writing it,” one TikTok commenter wrote in his defense.
Zack Has Divided Love Is Blind 4 Viewers
Although editing can be to blame for Zack’s song slip up, some viewers are having a hard time accepting that he chose Irina over Bliss when Zack even told Irina that he saw her “vicious” side. Bliss told Zack that picking Irina would show his true character, a comment that he did not like receiving, although it now rings true, given the cold-hearted way Irina treated Zack and her fellow Love Is Blind female cast members. Irina infamously even declared her interest in her best friend Micah’s fiancé Paul Peden after Zack finally ended things with her following their painfully awkward Mexico getaway.
When it comes to what’s next for Zack on Love Is Blind season 4, his future on the show remains to be seen. The first five episodes ended in a cliffhanger as he met Bliss for the first time following his split from Irina. However, it is uncertain if Bliss will take Zack back after he chose Irina over her and if they will be able to date or even marry on the love experiment show. On the other hand, it’s likely that Irina’s time on Love Is Blind has come to an end since she is finished with Zack. Hopefully the lawyer will have a second shot at love and the chance to redeem himself will Bliss in the episodes to come.
