Love Is Blind Season 3 Teaser Trailer & Premiere Date Announced

After months of speculation, Netflix confirmed through a short teaser trailer that Love Is Blind season 3 will premiere in October. The reality dating show, which released its first season just before the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic in February 2020, features 30 singles who are interested in finding the perfect partner. Unlike the hit TLC program Married At First Sight, however, the 15 men and women involved are forced to make initial connections while separated in individual pods and can only meet face-to-face once they become engaged. Over the following weeks, each duo meets the other Love Is Blind contestants and enjoys a couple’s retreat before facing the reality of trying to make their relationship work at home. By the end of the experiment, each couple must decide whether to go through with their wedding or break up.

Although Love Is Blind season 1’s Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton, and Amber Pike and Matthew Barnett, are still married as of September 2022, Love Is Blind season 2 ultimately ended with a 0% success rate. Out of the six engaged couples who were featured, Natalie Lee and Shayne Jansen, Deepti Vempati and Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee, and Mallory Zapata and Salvador Perez failed to tie the knot. While fan-favorite couple Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones were married during the Love Is Blind season 2 finale, to no surprise by viewers, the duo announced their impending divorce on August 17. Unfortunately, the other remaining couple, Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson, are heading for divorce as well, with the news of Danielle filing papers revealed just days later on August 21.

While the hit reality series hasn’t produced the best track record so far, fans of the show are excited for Love Is Blind season 3, which is just around the corner with its premiere set for October 19. A 30-second teaser trailer for the upcoming season, which Netflix shared on September 14, shows several glimpses of the incoming contestants who are hoping to walk away with the perfect partner. “Where are you at, wifey? Come at me!” one man excitedly declares, while one woman announces, “Boyfriend season is over. Let’s go!” Although Netflix shows glimpses of several Love Is Blind season 3 participants, the streaming platform intentionally blurs out everyone’s faces to keep fans even more on their toes until October.

Unlike Love Is Blind season 2, which featured contestants residing in the Chicago area, Love Is Blind season 3 will focus on singles located in Dallas, Texas. With Nick and Vanessa Lachey returning as hosts, the newest installment of Love Is Blind is set to feature at least one couple making it to the altar. This journey won’t come without its fair share of drama, however. While one unidentified couple is hinted to have an argument, another woman can be heard expressing, “I am not for everybody. I just hope I am for him.” Someone else muses, “We came here to take a chance on love.”

With almost every engaged couple failing to make their relationships work, fans ready to tune in to Love Is Blind season 3 are hoping that the third time’s a charm for the reality dating show to produce more successful marriages. Considering that Love Is Blind seasons 4 and 5 have already been renewed by Netflix, there’s no doubt that the program will be ending anytime soon. In the meantime, Love Is Blind season 2’s After the Altar, which will feature each duo as they provide fans with updates on their lives since filming, will be released on September 16.

Love Is Blind season 3 premieres October 19 on Netflix.
