Love Is Blind Season 1: Where Are They Now?

Love Is Blind Season 1: Where Are They Now?

It has been more than two years since the first season of Love is Blind graced fans with its confusing yet entertaining premise, and even longer since it was filmed and the couples have known one another. To put that in perspective, fan-favorite couple Cameron and Lauren have already celebrated their third wedding anniversary.

With Love is Blind season 2 having also wrapped up, it’s a nice time to look back at all the main cast members from the inaugural season and see what they have been up to since the After the Altar special, both romantically and professionally.

Giannina Milady Gibelli

Giannina and Damian had one of the rockiest relationships on the show, with jaws dropping when he told her he didn’t want to get married once they were at the altar together. Surprisingly, the two decided that while it was too soon to tie the knot, they still wanted to date.

They were still together when the After the Altar reunion special was filmed, but have broken up since. Based on her Instagram, she is currently dating former Bachelorette cast member Blake Horstman, confirmed by US Magazine. She was last working as a small business owner, but since gaining fame from the show, has been working with various brands. She notably dyed her hair a striking darker hue.

Matthew Barnett

Revealed in the reunion special, Matthew and Amber remain married and are still paying off her previous debt so that they can move forward. While she wants to start a family, he is reluctant about when. The duo remain very much in love. In September 2021, they purchased a house, according to InTouch Weekly. One of the biggest secrets the cast kept on Love is Blind was that Barnett also had student loans.

The pair recently marked their three-year wedding anniversary, according to Women’s Health. Barnett’s Instagram page links to a page that notes his gamer profile on Twitch.

Amber Pike

Love Is Blind Season 1: Where Are They Now?

Fans were reluctant about Matt’s decision to marry Amber. While he was doing well in his life with a solid job and owning a home, she was doing odd jobs and racked up a ton of debt. But that didn’t seem to faze him.

Amber served in the Army National Guard before joining the show, and after getting married, she was working in a restaurant a few days a week, according to Distractify. The pair have mentioned in the past wanting to start a dog daycare business. As noted, they recently bought a house, and she lists herself as a “dog mom” in her Instagram profile.

Jessica Batten

Jessica Batten had one of the most tumultuous and controversial experiences on the show. She fell for two men, then when Matt picked Amber instead, she continued to express an infatuation with him. It’s one of the things Jessica will never live down. Meanwhile, she treated Mark poorly in viewers’ eyes and butted heads with Amber, who didn’t appreciate Jessica seemingly trying to break her and Matt up.

Since the show finished, Jessica continued to work as a regional manager and got married to her boyfriend Benjamin in September 2022, according to People, after a one-year engagement. They had a small wedding with plans for a larger affair in 2024. Jessica now also serves as stepmother to her husband’s two kids from a previous relationship.

Lauren Speed

One-half of the poster couple for the perfect reality show pairing, Lauren and Cameron remain happily married and in love, as depicted on the reunion show. They have their own YouTube series called Hanging With the Hamiltons and she works as a rep for the Creative Artists Agency.

Lauren also hosts her own podcast called We Have the Receipts and wrote a book alongside her husband called “Leap of Faith.”

Damian Powers

Damian was initially a fan favorite on the series, but on the reunion show, he made some questionable decisions that fans didn’t like, including bringing a female friend to the reunion and all but ignoring Giannina, who he was supposedly still dating at the time.

While the pair have since broken up, Damian has shifted to working on his social media presence. According to RealityTitBit.com, he promotes brands like Hydroxycut, works with non-profits, and has a Cameo page. He promotes the non-profit Brawl for a Cause on his Instagram as well.

Cameron Hamilton

As noted, Cameron and his bride from the show Lauren are still married and very much in love, even though an unpopular opinion about Love is Blind is that the pair are overrated. As they celebrated their third anniversary, according to People, they gushed over one another.

Along with their YouTube channel, he continues to work as a scientist, as his Instagram profile confirms. His LinkedIn profile currently lists his occupation as the founder of Alliance AI, a company that provides “tailor-made AI solutions across all industries.”

Mark Cuevas

While Mark is one of a few cast members who didn’t show up to the reunion party, he was a subject of intense conversation. One of the biggest reveals from the Love is Blind After the Altar special was that Mark had a relationship after the show with LC. According to US Magazine, Mark got married in September 2022 after being engaged for two years to his girlfriend Aubrey. The pair also share two children together.

While he is working on his family, Mark also launched his own fitness app called M3 Coaching, describing himself in his Instagram profile as a training and nutrition coach.

Kelly Chase

Kelly, at first, seemed to be in one of the relationships on the show with the most potential, with her and Kenny meeting their respective families and everyone getting along well. But there was still something missing between them that led her to decline his invitation for marriage.

She was at the reunion still happily single. She currently promotes herself on Instagram as an entrepreneur and podcast host. She also promotes season 1 of the Reality of Love show in her profile, on which she presumably appears.

Kenny Barnes

Kenny was left heartbroken on the show when, after seemingly hitting it off with Kelly, had her decline to say “I do” at the altar. But he picked himself back up rather quickly and moved on. He brought his fiancée Alexandra to the reunion special. The pair got engaged in August 2020, and according to Axios Charlotte, got married in April 2022, with an event that was livestreamed.

He calls himself a “lighting professional” on Instagram. Indeed, his LinkedIn profile notes him working in specification sales for a lighting controls company in North Carolina.

Diamond Jack

Diamond was a big part of the reunion episode, with some footage following her continued search for love while going on a casual date with a friend of a friend. She ended up bringing him to the reunion, but things didn’t work out and Diamond leaned on her old girlfriends from the show for support.

It seems that Diamond, who had one of the most heated relationships on the show with Carlton after he shocked her by revealing his sexuality after they met in person, is still single. She continues to pursue her education towards earning a Ph.D. in optometry. She also lists herself as an actress.

Carlton Morton

Carlton only appeared briefly in the reunion special, at a café meeting with Lauren where the two got into a heated discussion as she tried to convince him to come to the party. Carlton was still hurt and upset about how things went down on the show and did not want to bring back those bad feelings and have to defend himself and his actions.

He was last known to be working as a celebrity assistant, according to Refinery29.com, who once worked for Cynthia Bailey of Real Housewives. His Instagram profile only lists him as an entrepreneur. He isn’t very active on social media, posting very sporadically.
