True Detective: Night Country creator Issa López addresses season 4’s ambiguous ending. After three seasons of varying quality, the popular HBO crime drama, created by Nic Pizzolatto, returned for a fourth outing earlier this year. Jodie Foster and Kali Reis lead the True Detective: Night Country cast as Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro, respectively, with a story following the two detectives as they investigate a series of mysterious disappearances in Alaska. The new season ends on a somewhat ambiguous note, with Navarro’s fate left up in the air.
During a recent interview with Deadline, López shares her thoughts on Navarro’s fate in the True Detective: Night Country ending. Check out her comment below:
“I think that if you look very carefully, very carefully at the show and follow the lines very carefully, there’s an answer to what we saw at the end.”
