Disney has made a concerted effort to reissue many of their classic animated features as live action films. Some of them are retellings, like The Lion King and Aladdin. Others have many differences compared to the original, like Maleficent and Mulan. Although many animated Disney movies have been translated into live-action, there are still others that haven’t … yet.
Although fans will have to wait for these movies to be remade, it’s still nice to think about what these famous characters would look like in a live-action reimagining. Fanart is just one way in which fans have taken animated Disney movies and interpreted their look through the lens of live-action.
Moana

Moana looks nearly identical to her animated counterpart, with barely any changes to her design. If Disney were to move forward with a live-action version of Moana, many fans would surely be pleased if Moana looked like she does here.
The Princess And The Frog
The Princess and the Frog could make a beautiful transition from animation to live-action. The bustling streets of New Orleans and the firefly-lit skies of the bayous would be interesting to see pulled off in live-action. While fans will have to wait longer for this, there is some fan art that shows what a live-action version of Princess Tiana could potentially look like.

Frozen
Frozen is one of Disney’s most successful franchises. As such, a live-action film would have all eyes on it. If fans want to know what a live-action Elsa might look like, they can turn to Carloz Gzz’s interpretation.
