In LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, one of the many characters that can be unlocked is Boss Nass, the leader of the Gungans. There are more than 300 playable characters in The Skywalker Saga, making it the largest roster of any LEGO Star Wars game. Additionally, there are also several Gungan characters that are playable as well, including Jar Jar Binks, Boss Nass, and Roos Tarpals.
Boss Nass is one of the Hero characters in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, giving him access to any terminal that can be accessed by other characters such as Padmé or Leia. Like the other Gungan characters, Boss Nass also has access to the traditional staff that their warriors wield. This gives the leader of the Gungans a way to use ranged weapons as the staff fires a projectile at his enemies.
Before players can unlock Boss Nass, they’ll have to complete Episode I – The Phantom Menace and gain access to Geonosis through Episode II – Attack of the Clones. Like many of the characters that aren’t playable through the main story, players will need to unlock Boss Nass by completing a side quest assigned by the leader of the Gungans himself. After completing The Phantom Menace in LEGO Star Wars and reaching Geonosis in Attack of the Clones, return to the Gungan City on Naboo and head toward the leader’s throne room. Boss Nass can be found just outside of the area and will assign the Gungans Gone side quest.
How To Unlock Boss Nass In LEGO Star Wars
Gungans Gone takes players to three planets other than Naboo to find the lost ambassadors for the species in all sorts of mischief. The three Gungans can be rescued in any order, though it’s best to rescue the three characters in Free Play because an Astromech and a Force user will be needed to rescue two of the three. LEGO Star Wars characters like Anakin Skywalker and R2-D2 are perfect for this side quest because both of them are accessible on the first Geonosis mission.
- Gungan 1: Head to the Federal District of Coruscant, then walk up the stairs on the far left and take the rampway to the next level. Talk to the NPC at the far left corner of the top level, and he’ll point players in the direction of a crying Gungan. Jump over the side, then go down the hole where the Gungan fell in. At the opposite end of the room is a trampoline that Force-sensitive characters can use to bring over to the Gungan. Next, use a mind-control tactic on the ambassador and jump on the trampoline to get out. Talk to the Gungan and they’ll return to Boss Nass.
- Gungan 2: With an Astromech character in LEGO Star Wars, head to Stalgasin Hive on Geonosis. Go up the hill to the right through the separatist hideaway, and continue along down the large hallway to the right to reach a Geonosian guardian an Astromech terminal. Open the door, then build the switch on the left side of the room and step on it to free the Gungan. Speak with them, and they’ll return to Boss Nass.
- Gungan 3: Head to the Mos Espa landing on Tatooine, and continue through the city until the fork in the road. Head down the left pathway to the end, then turn to the left to find the Gungan locked up. Pay their fine of 5,000 Studs in LEGO Star Wars to free the Gungan, then speak with them to return to Boss Nass.
After all three Gungans have returned, head back to Boss Nass to complete the side quest. Players will be rewarded with a Kyber Brick and the ability to purchase Boss Nass for 100,000 Studs in LEGO Star Wars.
