Could Travis Barker actually be the one for Kourtney Kardashian? They may have just started dating but Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans are all for Kourtney’s new relationship. While this is not the first time Travis and Kourtney have sparked romance rumors, this time around may be different.
When Keeping Up With the Kardashians first started 15 years ago, 28-year-old Kourtney was dating Scott Disick. The two had a rocky relationship for quite some, involving a few nasty arguments portrayed on the show. Over the years Kourtney and Scott had three children together, Mason, Penelope and Reign. Following the birth of their third child, Scott and Kourtney ultimately called it quits for good. They each went on to date separate people, many times quite younger in age. Scott’s most recent relationship was with model Amelia Hamlin. Earlier this month Kourtney and Travis sparked romance rumors, which Scott was not too surprised by.
Kourtney and Travis may be the next power couple. Fans took to Reddit to discuss their opinions on this new romance. Surprisingly enough, many were all for their relationship. The main reason was the similarity in age. Kourtney is known to date men that are typically quite younger than she is. Now, she is finally dating someone closer to her own age. In fact, he is actually older than her. Travis is 45 years old while Kourtney is 41 years old. Age aside, Travis seems to be more “on her level” rather than her “immature” ex-boyfriend Younes. It is about time Kourtney dates someone closer to her age as “it was getting creepy.” Age aside, Kourtney and Travis have been friends for quite some time. They already have a strong friendship built behind their new romance.
While many fans were for the new romance, they did have some questions about it as well. For starters, it is possible that Travis’s fear of flying could potentially affect their relationship in a negative way. While Travis is afraid of flying due to a past plane crash he was involved in, Kourtney and her family travel constantly. On the other hand, Kourtney and her family may have “compassion” for Travis and be understanding of his fear. He could also “go the extra mile” by taking other forms of transportation to still be able to visit and travel with Kourtney. Some questioned if the relationship news is in fact true. Some think that since the network behind the family’s hit show posted an article about the relationship it has to be true. Others felt that it could still be false information as the family prepares to leave the network for their deal with Hulu.
Dating an older man may be good for Kourtney Kardashian. Travis Barker is not only older but more mature which can be beneficial for Kourtney’s mental health while in a relationship. As Keeping Up With the Kardashians comes to an end so does Kourtney’s relationships with younger men.
