Love was in the air at Kim Kardashian’s surprise birthday party. The latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians celebrated her 40th birthday on Wednesday night and people can’t stop talking about the PDA Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson were packing on.
Khloe and Tristan have been in an on-and-off relationship since 2017. The couple’s faced a number of cheating scandals on Tristan’s part, but his encounter with Kylie Jenner’s former BFF Jordyn Woods put the final nail in the coffin. The two were estranged in 2019 following Tristan’s kiss with Jordyn, but have been seen spending more time together during the quarantine. In August, Scott Disick hinted at their possible reconciliation after he left a since-deleted comment on Khloe’s bikini pic calling Tristan a “lucky man.” By September there were reports that the pair was “acting like a married couple” while raising their 2-year-old daughter True Thompson.
The incidents have only increased speculation that the two are back together. While neither Khloe or Tristan have confirmed or denied the rumors, the couple didn’t hide their affection for each other at Kim’s birthday celebration. The reality star and NBA player attended the SKIMS founder’s surprise party that was featured on the Wednesday, October 21, episode of KUWTK. A clip captured by The Shaderoom showed Tristan kissing Khloé on the cheek while they posed for a picture in a photo booth. While there have been media reports confirming their rekindled romance, this is the first time the couple appears to be confirming their reunion themselves.
Amid reports over the summer that the two were back together, fans began shaming Khloé for taking Tristan back. However, inside sources claimed that the Good American founder was unbothered by the criticism because she was already used to it. “At this point, Khloé doesn’t really care about any backlash from fans about her being back together with Tristan,” an insider told Us Weekly at the time. “She has already been through that ringer and accepts that some fans are always going to have their own, often negative, opinion.” Earlier this month the two shared photos from their pumpkin carving day celebration with True.
The trailer for the current season of KUWTK even teased Tristan’s attempts to win Khloe back. He offered her to stay with him while her home was being renovated. Kim even got in on the reunion teasing when she shared morning workout photos of their feet and referring to herself as a “third wheel”. It looks like Khloe and Tristan are back to being an item and her family is in full support.
