When it comes to the latest cheating accusations brought against Tristan Thompson, the NBA player isn’t going down without a legal fight. He recently issued out a cease-and-desist letter to Sydney Chase amid her claims of them hooking up since he’s been reconciled with Khloe Kardashian. As the Keeping Up With The Kardashians couple tries to quiet all the chatter, Sydney doesn’t appear to be backing down.
Tristan is no stranger to cheating scandals. But this time around, the Boston Celtics player is claiming to be innocent. It was just two years ago when Khloe dumped him after he was caught kissing Kylie Jenner’s former BFF Jordyn Woods. The NBA champion spent the quarantine working to regain Khloe’s trust. After she chose to forgive him, the couple announced their reunion on the show in season 19. In the show’s final season, they shared their plans to conceive another child together despite Tristan’s cheating past. But their baby plans have taken a backseat to the latest infidelity claims plaguing the pair.
In response to Sydney’s shocking claims against the pro athlete, Tristan issued out a cease-and-desist letter to get the Instagram model to stop talking about their alleged tryst. Tristan had his lawyer Marty Singer send out the legal notice where he says her allegations are “malicious defamatory fabrications,” TMZ reports. “Mr. Thompson had no relationship with you whatsoever and he never sent you any such texts,” Singer added. He also questioned Sydney’s motives over claims she has been shopping around a reality show. Despite the slight delay in receiving the letter, Sydney has refused to retract her statements and admit to making any falsehoods.
She took to her Instagram Story to confirm that she received the letter “hours after” she made a previous post claiming she was never sent a letter. “It was first sent to an email I no longer use,” she said in the post captured by Its Onsite. “However, I’m moving forward with the truth and am choosing not to comply.” She also added that she “will not be called a liar.” From the looks of her stance, it’s clear that Sydney refuses to deny being intimate with Tristan. She also shared alleged text message conversations where the pro baller allegedly said that Khloe wasn’t his type.
This is the latest in a long history of cheating scandals for the Toronto native. He was first caught cheating on Khloe during her pregnancy with their daughter True Thompson. On the show, he expressed remorse for his past actions and claimed to be a changed man. But if Sydney is telling the truth, this might be the final straw for Khloe.
