Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian pledges that she will no longer be using or purchasing items that are made with plastic.
When KUWTK first started in 2007, Kourtney was just getting started with dating Scott Disick, and the couple was free of any responsibilities. In fact, the pair would often go out at all hours of the night and take lavish vacations where they could party the night away. Over 13 years later, Kourtney is now a single mother of three and has completely changed her lifestyle.
This week, 41-year-old Kourtnety Kardashian shared to her Instagram Story on Tuesday that she “won’t be buying any more plastic” as she showed off her perfectly organized fridge, reports The Daily Mail. She will no longer use products that are made of non-recyclable materials and will keep striving to live a more sustainable lifestyle. “I’m making an effort to not buy plastic containers so to those using boxes, glass or other plastic alternatives, thank you, and to any plastic I have here, I won’t be buying anymore,” she wrote in her Instagram Story alongside an image of her well-organized fridge. She is urging her followers to stop buying plastic bottles or other containers made of the material. Earlier in 2020, Kourtney shared with her followers on the official Poosh website that things like avoiding plastic water bottles, using biodegradable garbage bags, buying tube-free toilet paper, and stocking up on green cleaning supplies are all not only better for us, but better for the environment as well.
Kourtney isn’t the only Keeping Up With The Kardashians star that likes to show off her fancy fridge. In the past, Kim Kardashian also unveiled her walk-in fridge that contained six different brands of water, five different kinds of milk, several pieces of cheese, and a dedicated shelf just for sprinkles. Before Kim gave her fans a fridge tour, some followers mocked her for having empty shelves in her upstairs fridge. The fridge had a clear glass door that contained very few items such as glass Voss water bottles, cans of Perrier sparkling water, boxed Flow water, Boxed Water Is Better cartons, and Canada Dry soft drinks. Now, Kim revealed that she is getting rid of all the plastic bottles for her drink fridge, following in Kourtney’s footsteps. The Kardashian clan is slowly working on getting rid of anything made of plastic in their homes.
With the help of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians family members, people around the country will follow in their footsteps and strive to help the environment by cutting out plastic products.
