Kung Fu Panda 4‘s first trailer has just dropped ahead of the film’s release next year. After first playing the character in 2008, Jack Black is now set to return as Po for another adventure as the Dragon Warrior. The upcoming sequel, which is directed by Mike Mitchell, features an array of both old and new characters, including a formidable new villain called the Chameleon (Viola Davis).
Now, as Kung Fu Panda 4‘s release date inches closer, Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for the film. Check it below:
The Chameleon looks to be the most danagerous enemy Po has faced off against yet, with the villain able to take the form of any creature she likes, including Po himself!
What The Kung Fu Panda 4 Trailer Reveals About The Movie
The trailer features the exciting return of a number of characters from the franchise, including Tai Lung (Ian McShane). Tai Lung served as the primary villain in the original film and, while mentioned in the subsequent two installments, this will mark his proper return in the flesh. What’s unclear, however, is just how prominently he will feature in the latest film, with the trailer teasing that he will be swiftly defeated as the Chameleon takes his form and absorbs his power.
