Everyone’s favorite echidna is back for a new adventure in the latest Knuckles trailer. The Paramount+ show acts as a spinoff of the Sonic the Hedgehog movie franchise, with Idris Elba reprising his titular role after being introduced in the sequel of the SEGA video game franchise. Joining Elba in the show are returning stars Ben Schwartz as Sonic, Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Tails, Tika Sumpter as Maddie and Adam Pally as Wade, alongside newcomers Kid Cudi, Ellie Taylor, Christopher Lloyd and Cary Elwes.

The trailer, as seen above, offers a deeper look into the Sonic the Hedgehog spinoff, including the titular echidna’s journey to train Wade to become a more capable warrior.

The new film sees the new antagonist Shadow the Hedgehog, arriving to cause trouble for the newly formed trio of heroes, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, as they adjust to their earthly lives.
