Kim & Khloe Kardashian Accused of Not Sending Money to Australia Bushfire Relief

Kim and Khloe Kardashian, of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, have been accused of not sending money to the Australian bushfire relief. The two sisters are now scrambling to figure out where they went wrong.

On Friday, January 3, Kim took to her Twitter to tweet about how climate change was real – only one day after she tweeted multiple posts about the Australian wildfires that have already burned more than 24,00 square miles. Since the start of the fires, over 480 million animals have also been killed and are now running out of places to seek refuge.

Kim and Khloe were quick to clap back against allegations that they had done nothing to help those affected by the Australian bushfires, saying that they have indeed contributed money. Us Weekly reported that older sister Kim took to Twitter on Sunday, January 5 after a user tweeted that she was annoyed that the Kardashian-Jenner clan always talk about climate change, but take no action.

The reality star quickly tweeted her reply, saying that nothing gets her angrier than followers who think they really know the famous sisters’ lives, saying that they do not need to publicize everything that they do. Khloe also retweeted her post and quoted a Bible verse on January 6, calling out people who she considers to be hypocrites. The Bible verse was followed up by Khloe’s own words, saying that she and her family donate to organizations and speak out about the environment on a frequent basis. She went on to scold fans, saying that good deeds should be done with intention and not for the public attention.

The Kardashian sisters both said that they did not feel it necessary to boast about what they had donated, as any little bit counts, and they did not want to put anyone off from donating what they could. Many admirers still side with the rogue fan that started it all, saying that the reality stars should stop using their private jets and owning over-the-top real estate. Many followers pointed out that all of the sisters drive at least one luxury car. Many fans of the Kardashians were left with a bad taste in their mouth, feeling as if the sisters care more about keeping their money to themselves than spreading it around in times of need. Fans are hoping that, since the family has such a huge influence over people, they will step up to become part of a solution.
