Khloé Kardashian’s fans accused The Kardashians star of knowing about Tristan Thompson’s paternity scandal before choosing to have a second baby with him via a surrogate mother. Just when everyone thought Khloé was officially done with Tristan and his incessant cheating, the reality TV star shocked the world when news broke that she and Tristan are expecting another baby very soon. Further reports claimed the two are expecting a son, which Khloé reportedly wanted, making it that much more upsetting when she found out Tristan had fathered a baby boy with personal trainer Maralee Nichols. While the two don’t seem to have reconciled their romantic relationship, Khloé took Tristan back the first three times he cheated.
The final two episodes of The Kardashians season 1 showcased the aftermath of Tristan’s decision and the effect it had on Khloé and her family. According to the episode, Tristan slept with Maralee the night of his 30th birthday party in March 2021. Khloé threw the party for her ex and father of their 4-year-old daughter, True Thompson, and wrote a loving Instagram caption for him. The Good American founder had no idea that he was sleeping with someone else the same night. Khloé was rumored to have been back together with Tristan in October 2021, but when the paternity scandal broke, they called things off for good.
While Khloé seemed heartbroken in The Kardashians season finale, fans believe the star already knew about the scandal and planned to have a baby with Tristan after finding out. The interesting fan theory, shared by Reddit user jfarmwell123, claims that Khloé knew about Maralee’s pregnancy but still wanted to have another baby with Tristan, so she rushed to get a surrogate mother to carry it for her. This way, she could claim the surrogate was already carrying her baby before she found out about Tristan’s son with Maralee. “She would, at all costs, not miss her chance to get a surrogate pregnant as soon as she could and then spin it as though she didn’t know about baby #3 and whoops oh well, my surrogates already pregnant,” the fan wrote.

While the theory sounds extreme, fans wouldn’t put anything past the Kar-Jenner family. Many agreed, responding to the thread with their own theories about the situation. A lot of fans feel like Maralee must have reached out to Khloé and told her about the baby before the news broke in early December. Fans also claim to have known about the paternity scandal or at least heard rumors about it in summer 2021. They feel like if they knew then, how could Khloé not have known? One fan asked, “How could she not know when WE ALL KNEW last summer?” While the reality TV star appeared very emotional and heartbroken in The Kardashians season 1 finale, even telling her younger sister Kendall Jenner that she fainted from all the emotions, fans know that the Kar-Jenners are masters of manipulating and staging scenes for their show.
It seems like fans are having a hard time trusting Khloé these days. Recently, the famous family got caught re-filming scenes after they had already happened and have been in a handful of Photoshop scandals lately. It’s no wonder why fans are beginning to question if anything the Kar-Jenners say is true. It’s hard to tell if the theory is correct, but especially with a momager like Kris Jenner, one would think Khloé would’ve done some investigating before choosing to have another child with Tristan, unless, of course, The Kardashians star already knew about Tristan’s scandal, and this was part of the plan all along.
