Kanye West wants everyone to know that he has no ‘beef‘ with Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian despite her Valentine’s Day date with Pete Davidson in NYC. After Kanye spent the weekend bashing Pete on Instagram, Kim and the comedian stepped out for a dinner date in Brooklyn. With Pete recently moving to the NYC borough, Kim was in town to celebrate the holiday with her boyfriend. Meanwhile, Kanye wants everyone to know that Kim wore a coat he bought for her while on her dinner date with Pete.
Kanye hasn’t laid off Pete amid his latest tirade about his divorce. With Pete being the first man that Kim has dated since filing for divorce one year ago, Kanye is seeking vengeance. The rap/fashion mogul has continued to post about Kim and Pete on his Instagram page while ranting about wanting his family back together. Kanye attended the Super Bowl with North and Saint West and it looks like Kim was boarded a flight to New York City to be with Pete. On the night of the Super Bowl, Kim and Pete were photographed going to dinner at a restaurant in Pete’s new place of residence Brooklyn, NY. Kim looked lavish in a shimmered silver ensemble while Pete kept it casual in baggy jeans, a flannel, and a brown denim jacket.
Once Kanye caught wind of a Daily Mail article about the date, he decided to repost one of the photos showing Kim and Pete while clarifying his feelings on his divorce. “I DON’T HAVE BEEF WITH KIM I LOVE MY FAMILY SO STOP THAT NARRATIVE,” Kanye wrote in a lengthy caption. He went on to note that he is not “giving up on my family” before also noting that Kim was wearing a coat he bought for his ex-wife “before SNL.” Kanye shared his hopes that “we’ll be back together” despite Kim’s noticeable happiness in the date night pics with Pete. “SOMETIMES PEOPLE CALL ME CRAZY BUT TO BE IN LOVE IS TO BE CRAZY ABOUT SOMETHING AND I AM CRAZY ABOUT MY FAMILY HAPPY VALENTINES,” Kanye concluded.
The post appeared to confirm that Kanye has no quarrels with Kim but also highlighted his distaste for her dating someone else. In the photo that Kanye chose to repost, Pete’s face was hidden from view. It looked like another obvious snub towards the comedian who has continued to take the high road amid Kanye’s attacks. The rapper has started referring to Pete as “Skete” and directed his fans to shout “Kimye forever” whenever they see the SNL star out in public. While some fans speculate if Kanye is only attacking Pete to promote his upcoming album Donda 2, others think Kanye has gone off the rails.
With four children involved, Kim and Kanye will have to work together to co-parent their kids. Despite Kanye’s claims that Kim tries to keep him separated from the West kids, they’re often seen spending time with the rapper. North and Saint West were seated alongside Kanye at the Super Bowl game one week after the kids attended Kanye’s event in Chicago. Kim appears to be working to maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship with Kanye despite how hard he makes it. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is remaining silent while Kanye continues to publicly berate her boyfriend online.
