Kalani Faagata finally opened up about why her sons Oliver and Kennedy accompanied her and Asuelu Pulaa to Isla Bella Beach Resort on 90 Day: The Last Resort. The 34-year-old Kalani grew up Mormon in California. She was the girl who never drank or smoked while growing up. Kalani left the Mormon church and lost her virginity to the then-23-year-old Asuelu two months before she turned 29. Asuelu had been her only sexual partner all her life, so when it came to him giving her a “hall pass,” which allowed Kalani to kiss a different man, she obliged. After all, Asuelu had cheated on Kalani during his Samoa trip with someone who supposedly gave him a yeast infection.
Asuelu knew he wanted to save his marriage with Kalani, and she too wanted to give their kids a good future. The couple decided to give couples therapy a try during 90 Day: The Last Resort season 1, but viewers noticed that they brought their kids along. Kalani revealed why (via stealsfrommainsub on Reddit) when a fan asked her about it.
Kalani posted a behind-the-scenes picture of Oliver and Kenny on her Instagram Story. She wrote, “I don’t travel out of state without my kids.” Kalani shared that she would have never left the kids alone at home for the many days that they were filming anyway. “Couples retreat or not, I’m a mom first,” Kalani said. She added that it was a “mutual decision” she and Asuelu made as parents.
How Is Kalani & Asuelu Handling 90 Day: The Last Resort?
Kalani found out Asuelu had cheated on her when they were on a video call and noticed his tongue was white. Kalani came to know immediately that he had thrush. “There’s only certain ways you can get it. You either kiss someone [on the mouth] or you kiss someone down there,” she explained, pointing to her genitals. Asuelu wanted to give Kalani a chance to make things even when he finally caved in and admitted to the indiscretion. Kalani shocked Asuelu by revealing she not only kissed but was also intimate with the new man. She insinuated that the man treated her better in bed than Asuelu and was keeping her happier than her husband ever did.
Asuelu wanted to find out if Kalani still had feelings for the man. While Kalani didn’t admit it in the Last Resort premiere, there are rumors that Kalani is now officially in a relationship with the man, whose name is reportedly Dallas Nuez. Kalani has made sure to post about her boyfriend on Instagram. His tattooed hand is enough for fans to go and spot him on her feed. Kalani had been giving spoilers about 90 Day: The Last Resort since the start of 2023. It is reported that Kalani and Dallas are going to move in together. Apparently, Kalani has already met his parents.
Asuelu is looking pained and heartbroken during his scenes on 90 Day: The Last Resort. He admitted that the reason why they’re on the show is because of him. He’s always on the brink of crying, and he seems guilty about what he did to Kalani. But Kalani is in no mood to forgive Asuelu. Her feelings for Dallas have only grown stronger over time. Even if there’s no news of a divorce, it’s safe to assume that Kalani and Asuelu are a couple that will be going their separate ways once 90 Day: The Last Resort reaches its finale.
