Jurassic World 4 From Original Jurassic Park Writer Confirmed, Will Launch “New Era”

Jurassic World 4 is on the way, with Jurassic Park‘s screenwriter penning the script. Serving as an adaptation of Michael Crichton’s novel of the same name, Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park in 1993 started a hit franchise that included two direct sequels and a soft reboot in 2015. The release of Jurassic World Dominion, the sixth film in the larger saga, seemingly brought the reboot franchise to a close in 2022.

Now, THR reports that another Jurassic World movie is in the works at Universal. While details on the project remain hard to come by, David Koepp, the screenwriter responsible for the original Jurassic Park and its direct sequel, is said to be making good progress on a script for the film. According to the report, the new movie will usher in a “new Jurassic era,” and a 2025 release date is not out of the question.
