Jurassic World 4 Could Fix The Most Ridiculous Part of Jurassic World Dominion’s Ending

Jurassic World 4 Could Fix The Most Ridiculous Part of Jurassic World Dominion’s Ending

Universal’s Jurassic World 4 could fix the most ridiculous part of Jurassic World Dominion by making the storyline more realistic. In 1993, Jurassic Park started a worldwide phenomenon by pioneering CGI, creating the most realistic-looking dinosaurs at the time. The film developed into a wildly popular trilogy. Then, in 2015, Colin Trevorrow revived the series with Jurassic World, adding a second trilogy to the franchise. While Jurassic World Dominion was rumored as the final installment, confirmation of Jurassic World 4 came at the end of January 2024. This is exciting for fans since it’s being advertised as a new era.

Jurassic World 4 could include new dinosaurs that haven’t yet appeared in the movies and introduce characters who appeal to a new generation of viewers. Unfortunately, the upcoming movie also has an uphill battle due to Jurassic World Dominion. The 2022 film wasn’t well received by audiences, making the standards much higher for Jurassic World 4. The movie makes Maisie Lockwood and the locusts the main characters instead of dinosaurs, a mistake that can’t be repeated. Most frustratingly, Jurassic World Dominion includes a wildly unrealistic ending that the next movie will need to integrate going forward.

Dinosaurs Cohabitating Peacefully With Humans At The End Dominion Is Unrealistic

Jurassic World 4 Could Fix The Most Ridiculous Part of Jurassic World Dominion’s Ending

Jurassic World Dominion was supposed to focus on what the world would look like when dinosaurs live alongside humans. Instead, the plot almost exclusively focuses on the issue of locusts destroying crops. When it comes to the actual dinosaurs, the ending of Jurassic World Dominion shows them living peacefully alongside humans and animals. This seems extremely unrealistic, and Jurassic World 4 will have to remedy this.

Herbivore dinosaurs would compete with other animals to survive off a very minimal amount of resources. The types of food they need might not exist anymore due to extinction or could be in high demand. Carnivorous dinosaurs might make humans their new source of food due to evolution and humans becoming so plentiful. Additionally, as a species is placed in a new environment, it likely will either fail to thrive or mess up the ecosystem, which isn’t discussed in Jurassic World Dominion.

Jurassic World 4 Could Show Dinosaurs Becoming An Invasive Species

Despite the issues created by Jurassic World Dominion’s narrative, there’s one direction that Jurassic World 4 could take to fix the problem. The upcoming film could show dinosaurs becoming an invasive species – an organism introduced into a new environment, causing harm to the existing ecosystem. This was briefly touched on at the start of Jurassic World Dominion but was quickly brushed under the rug in favor of locusts.

Jurassic World 4 could shift the focus back to the impact of dinosaurs on the world. Even if the peaceful ending is accurate at the moment it is shown, it wouldn’t necessarily stay that way. This approach would fit with the existing storyline but bring a more realistic perspective to integrating dinosaurs into the world. Additionally, it would set up the tension and possibly action that would put the story in motion. After all, Jurassic World 4 will need to show dinosaurs being ferocious, since that’s the appeal of Jurassic Park.
