Jujutsu Kaisen’s Sukuna Looks More Twisted Than Ever in Absolutely Incredible New Cosplay

Jujutsu Kaisen‘s most terrifying and menacing villain, Ryomen Sukuna, has come to life in a terrifying new cosplay that showcases the twisted nature of the character. Sukuna is the most formidable threat the sorcerers have faced, with such jaw-dropping power that he was able to take down even the great Gojo Satoru. Few beings come close to his skill and strength, and this cosplay perfectly captures that nearly indestructible might in all its glory.

The look features a close-up photo of Reddit user, u/_zenomori_, representing the truly evil entity. The cosplayer wears a threatening expression, as if daring anyone to face them and survive. Sukuna’s signature spiky pink hair is featured in the outfit, a tousled and messier version of Yuji Itadori’s hair.

Since the cursed spirit is using Yuji’s body as his primary vessel, his appearance is a more vicious and disheveled-looking version of the younger sorcerer’s. The signature black markings across the cosplayer’s face are remarkably identical to Sukuna’s markings in the anime, distinguishing him from the friendly Yuji.

The cosplayer has flawlessly captured the very essence of the King of Curses

The posing in the photograph looks exactly like one of Sukuna’s poses in the anime, holding out two fingers boldly with a terrifying attitude, as if getting ready to attack. There are a few white slashes interlaced across the screen, giving the impression that Sukuna is utilizing his dangerous Cleave attack. Cleave allows the King of Curses to cut and slice opponents or objects to pieces with just a simple gesture, making it one of the most formidable weapons in the entire series. The dim lighting and faint red glow give the look a spooky atmosphere, perfect for the cursed spirit.

The outfit they are wearing is Yuji Itadori’s school and sorcerer outfit, a navy jacket and pants with a red collar at the top of the shirt. The whole cosplay is a wicked twist on the young sorcerer’s everyday appearance, because when Sukuna takes control of the boy, he develops black facial markings, red pupils, and a devious expression to indicate that he is in control and not Yuji. The Jujutsu Kaisen animators in particular did a phenomenal job capturing these small changes that occur when the King of Curses takes over Itadori’s body and uses him as a vessel for evildoing.

Out of all the cursed spirits in Jujutsu Kaisen, Sukuna is by far the worst and possesses the highest death toll. He has singlehandedly killed some of the most powerful sorcerers and the chances of anyone stopping his wicked actions seem slim to none. The cosplayer u/_zenomori_ has portrayed this terrifying villain’s physical appearance phenomenally well, including crucial aspects like his cursed techniques, intricate facial markings, and evil expression in the high-quality and unique look. The portrayal is shockingly precise and full of anime-accurate details, making it one of the best cosplays of Ryomen Sukuna from Jujutsu Kaisen.
