JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure And Demon Slayer Characters Who Share The Same Voice Actor

Warning: This article contains mentions of violence.

After watching Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, one may wonder who the voice actors for their beloved characters are. There are also those Demon Slayer fans that have every character’s voice embedded in their heads. Of course, there are also those characters whose voices don’t sound alike but are surprisingly voiced by a single person.

Demon Slayer has just released its final episode for the second season last February, which left fans needing more, as a teaser for the upcoming season was released afterward. On the other hand, the remaining episodes of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean will be released in Fall 2022 and is something that fans are looking forward to. Those who love both series may be happy to learn that some characters from both series are voiced by the same Japanese voice actor.

Ryota Osaka: Mark & Gyutaro

Mark is a German soldier from Battle Tendency. He is patriotic and enthusiastic, even planning to marry his girlfriend after the war. He was one of the few people who witnessed the Pillarmen awaken from slumber. Unfortunately, he was killed by Wham as the latter walks past him.

On the other hand, Gyutaro is one of the strongest demons in Demon Slayer, having the rank of Upper Rank 6, which is shared with his sister, Daki. Due to his harsh life as a human, he is extremely envious of anyone who lived a better life than him. He is incredibly powerful, being able to fight and defeat several skilled opponents at once. Ryota Osaka gives amazing performances as both characters.

Shōtaro Morikubo: Akira Otoishi & Spider Demon (Son)

One of Diamond is Unbreakable‘s villains, Akira Otoishi is a guitarist who obtained his Stand ability, Red Hot Chili Pepper, through the Arrow. He uses his electricity-manipulating Stand to commit crimes, such as stealing and killing those who get in the way. He is intelligent but cowardly and overconfident sometimes.

Like most demons, the Son Spider Demon, who resides in Mt. Natagumo, is a cruel demon. He can generate poison and turn humans into spiders. He was defeated by Zenitsu Agatsuma while underestimating him, but not before affecting him with his Spider Conversion ability.

Toshiyuki Morikawa: Yoshikage Kira & Kagaya Ubuyashiki

Yoshikage Kira is a serial killer and Diamond is Unbreakable‘s main antagonist. He targets women with beautiful hands and, after cutting them off, does horrible things with them, disposing of them later. Ironically, he wishes for a safe, peaceful, and worry-free life, contrary to what he always does.

Kagaya Ubuyashiki is the 97th leader of the Demon Slayer Corps and a character many think deserves an OVA episode. Despite being physically weak due to his curse, he was still highly respected by the Demon Slayers stronger than him. People respect him because of his personality, charisma, and fairness. He genuinely cares for his subordinates, handles and acknowledges criticism well, and is good at judging people. Despite the two characters’ vast differences, the actor does a phenomenal job with each.

Takehito Koyasu: DIO & Hand Demon

Another fan-favorite villain of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure and arguably the most popular one, DIO, is the main antagonist of Phantom Blood and Stardust Crusaders. He is an extremely power-hungry human-turned-vampire, occasionally looking down on humans and desiring to rule above them all. His Stand, The World, can stop time for up to 9 seconds. He is one of, if not the most, popular characters that Takehito Koyasu has voiced.

The Hand Demon is a demon confined on Mount Fujikasane as an obstacle demon in the Final Selection. After being turned into a demon, he ended up killing his brother and was captured by Tanjiro Kamado’s mentor, Sakonji Urokodaki. He was killed by Tanjiro during the latter’s own Final Selection.

Junichi Suwabe: Leone Abbacchio & Kyogai

One of Giorno Giovanna’s companions and an ex-cop, Leone Abbacchio, is a character introduced in Golden Wind. He has a no-nonsense attitude and distrusts others, as shown when he frequently expresses contempt toward Giorno’s actions. He is, however, extremely dedicated to the mission he is provided, mainly as a way to cope with his past, where his partner got killed when Abbacchio accepted bribes from a criminal.

Kyogai is a demon stripped of his rank of Lower Moon Six. As a human, he was a writer; however, his works were unappreciated and even insulted. He can use drums to change his or other people’s positions and locations in his mansion. He was killed by Tanjiro Kamado, who complimented his abilities as Kyogai died tearfully.

Katsuyuki Konishi: Diavolo & Tengen Uzui

The main villain of Golden Wind and leader of Passione, Diavolo is also the alter of Vinegar Doppio. He is obsessed with hiding his identity and erasing his history, even trying to kill his blood daughter, Trish Una. His Stand, King Crimson, can predict and erase time for up to 10 seconds, making him extremely difficult to beat.

Tengen Uzui, the main Hashira for the Entertainment District Arc, is a flamboyant, demanding, and quirky character. He places a high value on flamboyance and has a strong distaste for unflashy items and mediocrity. He is a skilled shinobi, has extremely great senses, and uses Sound Breathing to defeat demons.

Daisuke Namikawa: Narciso Anasui & Hotaru Haganezuka

One of the allies in Stone Ocean, Narciso Anasui is a fellow inmate (and obsessed stalker) of Jolyne Kujo. He is fascinated with dismantling objects, which includes a watch, a car, and even his cheating lover, resulting in his 12-year imprisonment. His Stand, Diver Down, enables him to imprint and release an attack on any surface.

Hotaru Haganezuka is a skilled swordsmith who forges the swords of Tanjiro and the Demon Slayers. He is extremely passionate about swords, disregarding a demon attacking him while he was swordsmithing. He hates it when his swords get broken, chipped, or altered in other ways, such as when Inosuke chipped his sword to shape it like a saw.

Tomokazu Sugita: Joseph Joestar & Gyomei Himejima

VA Tomokazu Sugita looking at the camera

One of the fans’ favorite JoJo’s, Joseph Joestar, is the protagonist of Battle Tendency and a major character in Stardust Crusaders. He is popular for outsmarting stronger opponents, such as Kars and Esidisi, as he managed to defeat them even with cowardly tactics. He is the only person who can use both Ripple and a Stand, although his Stand, Hermit Purple, is not really powerful.

Gyomei Himejima is the strongest Hashira among the current Demon Slayers. He uses Stone Breathing, and instead of swords, he uses a flail with an ax, the most unique one among Demon Slayers. With the help of others, he defeated the two strongest demons in existence: Muzan and Kokushibo.

Takahiro Sakurai: Rohan Kishibe & Giyu Tomioka

Rohan Kishibe is an enemy-turned-ally and skilled mangaka in Diamond is Unbreakable. He is arrogant, sometimes decent, and curious, always seeking inspiration for his manga. His Stand, Heaven’s Door, can turn humans into “human books,” revealing information about their past, personality, and characteristics.

One of the 9 Hashiras of Demon Slayer Corps, Giyu Tomioka, is also a fellow student of Sakonji Urokodaki. He is quiet, always appearing as stoic and unbothered. Like Tanjiro, he is a user of Water Breathing, and an extremely skilled one at that, as shown when he easily beats Rui, a Lower Moon 5 demon. He also has one of the best character arcs of any main character, which is helped greatly by the performance of Takahiro Sakurai.

Nobuhiko Okamoto: Ghiaccio & Genya Shinazugawa

VA Nobuhiko Okamoto looking at the camera

After Giorno & Co. defected from Passione, Diavolo sent Ghiaccio to finish them. He is overconfident and short-tempered, but he is level-headed. His Stand, White Album, allows him to freeze the surroundings, including the air, and is extremely wide-ranged. He demonstrates his level-headedness when he freezes his blood to temporarily stop his bleeding after being impaled.

Genya Shinazugawa is the most unique among Demon Slayers. Instead of using a Breathing Technique with swords, he uses a shotgun and eats the demons’ flesh and uses their abilities, and he even developed his own Blood Demon Art, despite being a human. He also can only be killed by decapitation, similar to most demons.
