By most accounts John Wick: Chapter 4 was a new high for the franchise that began nearly a decade ago. The film landed in the 90% range both critically and commercially on Rotten Tomatoes and has made Keanu Reeves’ franchise exit a memorable one; that is, if the John Wick: Chapter 4 ending is to be believed. The John Wick franchise has always competed with itself, with each new film working to raise the high bar set by its predecessor, and John Wick: Chapter 4 has upped the ante yet again.

One of the strengths of the John Wick franchise is that much of the creative team has stayed the same through all four films; this is also true for composers Tyler Bates and Joel J. Richard, who have created the franchise’s gripping and bombastic musical identity. Soon, vinyl collectors will be able to celebrate the score for John Wick: Chapter 4 in style, thanks to an eye-catching release by Lakeshore Records. Whether or not John Wick is still alive for future films, John Wick: Chapter 4 is worth celebrating and revisiting. The John Wick: Chapter 4—Original Motion Picture Soundtrack on vinyl does so in an eye-catching fashion, with a stunning “Transparent Orange” coloring that pops off of any turntable. The album’s sleeve features images from the film in a stunning painted style, while also offering key information about the score itself.

Once needle hits vinyl, the music by Tyler Bates and Joel J. Richard will transport listeners back to the thrills and action of John Wick: Chapter 4. The four-sided collection features a total of 35 tracks and is composed of the score by Bates and Richard in addition to the song “Eye For An Eye”, which was written and produced by Bates and features cast member Rina Sawayama on vocals. Also featured on the score are Lola Colette and Nick and Sam Wilkerson of White Reaper, the band In This Moment, and Manon Hollander.
