Jersey Shore: Snooki Shuts Down Trolls Bashing New Show Messiness

Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is shutting down trolls on Twitter for bashing her new MTV show Messiness. It was recently announced that Nicole will be hosting a new spin-off of the MTV hit show Ridiculousness. Some Twitter users bashed Nicole, claiming that the show was going to be a flop; however, she was not afraid to defend her new project.

Following the season 3 finale of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Nicole announced she would be leaving the show due to the drama that took place during Angelina Pivarnick’s wedding. During her time away from Jersey Shore, Nicole focused on different work ventures, including her two Snooki Shop boutique locations as well as her family. She also hosted a new HGTV show, Beach Cabana Royale. After taking a season-long hiatus from the show, Nicole returned to filming alongside her roommates.

In addition to her many work projects, including making a return to her Jersey Shore roots, Nicole will soon be starring in another MTV show, Messiness. While Nicole is excited to take on this new hosting role, she has already encountered some Internet trolls doubting the show. On Twitter, Nicole fought back at critics who were bashing her new show. Replying to a tweet that announced the new show, a Twitter user claimed the show was going to be a flop. They wrote, “Cancelled after 1 szn.” Nicole responded, writing, “Let’s bet on it,” along with a kissing lips emoji. The user later asked Nicole, “How much?” However, Nicole has yet to respond.

Nicole did not stop there. Another user, who doubts the new show will be successful, wrote, “When you think @MTV can’t get more crappy.” Rather than engaging in a conversation, Nicole simply gave the critic a virtual eye roll in the form of a GIF. The critic was shocked that Nicole actually responded to them. They then replied to Nicole, admitting that she was in fact funny. Prior to these incidents, Nicole shared how excited she was to take on the new hosting gig. Despite the few doubters, most fans are actually excited for Messiness to premiere. In fact, many are hoping that the show features clips from Nicole’s infamous and iconic Jersey Shore moments.

Nicole’s new show Messiness is set to be a spin-off show of Ridiculousness, in which Nicole will watch some of the messiest drunk videos found on the Internet. Nicole is set to fly out to Los Angeles to begin filming for the show sometime this month; however, it is unknown when the show will premiere. Until then, fans will still get to see Nicole on their TV, as she makes her long-awaited return to Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation airs Thursdays at 8pm on MTV.
