Elektra actor Jennifer Garner addresses the reprisal of her Marvel role in the MCU’s upcoming Deadpool 3. Jennifer Garner first played the Marvel assassin Elektra in 2003’s Daredevil, after which she received her own spinoff in 2005. With Deadpool 3 merging Fox’s X-Men universe with the MCU, characters from other non-mutant properties like Elektra can also make an appearance in 2024’s only Marvel movie.
After reports that Jennifer Garner will return as Elektra in Shawn Levy’s upcoming Deadpool 3, Garner herself addresses her appearance in the MCU film, but leaves more questions than answers. In an interview with Collider, Jennifer Garner acts elusive towards questions about Deadpool 3. Read her statements below:
COLLIDER: Jennifer, an individual question for you: did you ever think you were going to wear the Elektra suit again?
GARNER: I don’t know what you’re talking about. What could you mean?
COLLIDER: [Laughs] I’m hypothetically thinking you could be in a Deadpool sequel. Hypothetically.
GARNER: Not that I’m aware of.
