James Gunn’s Funko Pop! has finally been unveiled, along with other Marvel figures exclusive to New York Comic-Con. Next month’s NYCC is shaping up to be a must-attend event for fans of comics, film, and TV. Along with the usual selection of writers, artists, and other creatives, various upcoming movies and seasons of TV will be hosting panels. We already know FOX will be bringing shows like The Gifted and X-Files to the ‘Con. Meanwhile, WB will take Gotham and the series Castle Rock the big event.
Along with the panels for TV shows, which will likely feature new looks at upcoming episodes, NYCC will be the place to see some exclusive new trailers. The trailer for Amazon’s Jack Ryan series will gives fans their first look at the show when it premieres at the convention. Likewise, the first trailer for Pacific Rim: Uprising will premiere at NYCC. While those trailers will make their way online after their NYCC debut, fans will have to attend the ‘Con if they want to get their hands on certain exclusive Funko Pop! figures.

Funko has unveiled their line of NYCC exclusive Marvel figures that will be available next month, including the long-awaited James Gunn Pop! As a growing pop culture figure, it makes sense for the Guardians of the Galaxy 1 & 2 director to get his own figure, and he’s certainly in good company. Along with the Gunn figure, Funko released images of a number of other exciting Marvel toys.
Old Man Logan will be making his Funko debut, with both a Pop! and Dorbz figure. Joining the newly-released line of Inhumans figures will be a flocked version of the Lockjaw Pop! And fleshing out the growing Thor: Ragnarok line is a Grandmaster figure, as well as a casual take on Hulk during his time on Sakaar in the film.
Along with the Marvel figures, Funko has been slowly teasing their full range of NYCC exclusives over the past few weeks. We’ve seen Game of Thrones characters Lyanna Mormont and Jaqen H’Ghar get their due. Meanwhile, a new batch of Rogue One and Star Wars figures will be made available at the event. Add in characters from Disney, DC, and more, and Funko fans will have a lot to be excited for when it comes to NYCC. With the convention just around the corner, more news and additional reveals from the event will be arriving very soon.
