Jack Quaid Reveals Secret Star Trek: Lower Decks Alien Role Besides Boimler

Jack Quaid reveals he played a secret voice role in Star Trek: Lower Decks season 4 besides Lieutenant Brad Boimler. In Star Trek: Lower Decks season 4, episode 6, “Parth Ferengi’s Heart Place,” Boimler was assigned to accumulate travel information about the Ferengi homeworld, Ferenginar. Instead, Bradward was completely distracted by Ferengi television in his hotel room, and Boimler was particularly addicted to binging the series Pog & Dar: Cop Landords.

On Instagram, Jack Quaid shared Star Trek on Paramount+’s Instagram reel from Star Trek: Lower Decks season 4, episode 6, “Parth Ferengi’s Heart Place.” Quaid reveals he voiced the Ferengi Pog and Dar shot in the episode! Check out Jack’s Instagram story and watch the reel below:

Star Trek: Lower Decks Cast Guide – Who Voices Each Character In All 4 Seasons

Star Trek: Lower Decks features an incredibly talented and prolific voice cast of actors. Here’s who’s who aboard the USS Cerritos.

Jack Quaid & Brad Boimler Had A Great Star Trek 2023

Boimler had the best year of his Starfleet career so far.

As Brad Boimler, Jack Quaid had a stellar Star Trek year in 2023. Jack brought Bradward to live-action in Star Trek: Lower Decks‘ crossover with Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which was directed by Jonathan Frakes. Along with Tawny Newsome’s Ensign Beckett Mariner, Quaid’s Boimler got to meet Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) and the crew of the USS Enterprise. In Star Trek: Lower Decks season 4, Boimler was promoted to Lieutenant, junior grade, commanded his first away mission, got his own quarters and Twin Twained with his roommate, Lt. Sam Rutherford (Eugene Cordero), and Boimler successfully served as Acting Captain of the USS Cerritos.

While perpetually anxiety-ridden and excitable, the lovable Lt. Boimler showed flashes of the future Captain he is destined to be. Bradward led the charge to save the USS Voyager from three holographic villains in Star Trek: Lower Decks season 4’s premiere, which earned him his new Lieutenant’s pip. Boimler also made a great team with T’Lyn (Gabrielle Ruiz), and the duo was reminiscent of the classic interplay between Captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner) and Mr. Spock (Leonard Nimoy). But Boimler may not have been funnier in Star Trek: Lower Decks season 4 when he was binging Ferengi television, and we now know Jack Quaid was hilariously doing double voice duty.

Star Trek: Lower Decks is available to stream on Paramount+.
