Simply known as The Lawyer, Brian Unger plays a fan-favorite role as one of the best recurring characters in It’s Always Sunny. He shows up every now and then and faces off against the gang, using his real-life knowledge of the law despite Charlie’s obvious expertise on bird law.
Unger’s Instagram account paints a totally different picture of who he is compared to his character. Known simply as The Waitress, Mary Elizabeth Ellis plays the role of a burnt-out acquaintance of the gang, who often struggles to make ends meet and has to work several jobs to survive. Charlie’s unhealthy obsession with her is obvious from the first moment they meet, as she accuses him of stalking her and even eventually files a restraining order against him.
Fans may already know that Day and Ellis are actually married in real life, which is what she often posts about on her Instagram account. Dee Reynolds (Kaitlin Olson) is Dennis’ sister and usually the unfortunate subject of jokes among the gang. They don’t seem to mind that Charlie is often high-strung and stressed out by having to deal with their antics and making sure the bar is decent enough to stay open.
Despite having the largest following, Day has the fewest posts on Instagram, having only 36 images on his feed. His posts mostly consist of behind-the-scenes images and promos for the show. Fans will likely be more excited about his photos with his wife, who plays The Waitress on the sitcom.
