Naturally, many of the questions fans asked were about NetherRealm’s next big project, but instead of brushing them aside as many would expect at this point, Boon bluntly told Twitter user GuiLeena_ that it would either be Injustice 3 or Mortal Kombat 12. However, it seems that Ed Boon’s latest post has put these rumors of a NetherRealm Marvel game or Marvel/DC crossover title to bed. Boon is well-known for engaging with fans online and giving out cryptic clues about the next NetherRealm game or Mortal Kombat guest character.
