Impressive Pokémon PC Build Puts Red & Blue Starters Inside The Computer

A Pokémon fan recently took to Reddit to share an impressive PC build, themed after the beloved property. Fans of the pocket monsters have been creating impressive works of art for many years, like this Poké Ball hand-crafted by a Pokémon fan’s 82-year-old grandfather, and it doesn’t appear the community is slowing down anytime soon

Pokémon has been capturing the hearts of fans for over 25 years. Many players have fond memories of watching the anime as children and even playing the original games on their Game Boys. This has inspired fans to create different merchandise and artwork themed after the plethora of existing Pokémon characters and even different elements featured throughout the franchise. People also use this inspiration to share their different takes on Pokémon and one fan even took to the 3D modeler known as Blender to create an eerily realistic version of the Pokémon called Dragonair.

1YardLoss recently shared their most recent Pokémon-themed PC build on Reddit. The build features figures of all three of the original starter Pokémon, Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Charmander – all nestled just above the graphics card on little platforms surrounded by their respective elements. Throughout the build, there are also various Pokémon cards, but the original poster was sure to note that they are not actual cards, given those that rare usually cost a pretty penny. Near the top of the PC, there are cutouts of each of the starter Pokémon featured again; as well as a very cool cutout of the Ghost-type evolution line of Gastly, Haunter and Gengar all in one image on the water cooler. On one of the bottom fans, they put a Pikachu that looks like it could be using its electricity to power the PC. There is also a Poké Ball full of different Pokémon figures and the Pokémon edition Game Boy Color inside the PC. They did not mention how long it took to plan and build, but 1YardLoss did an impressive job capturing the different elements of the original Pokémon.

This is not the first game-themed PC 1YardLoss has built and shared. Recently, they created a custom Resident Evil Umbrella Corp PC for a customer. They mentioned in the comments that users can commission them to build different themed PCs via their website OdderTech. Players can see an impressive roster of different builds on their site which range from Sailor Moon-themed to one based on the movie theatre chain known as Alamo Drafthouse. These builds are well-thought-out and well-executed, with each one showcasing its theme extremely well – and the Pokémon one is no exception.

Pokémon stands the test of time and continues to draw in new fans of all ages. Sharing their passion with other Pokémon fans allows people to connect and find a community that appreciates their creativity. With each new game and television show that comes out, it seems as though Pokémon will continue to inspire fans for many years to come.
