IKEA unveils a range of furniture sets based on shows like The Simpsons and Netflix’s horror-adventure series Stranger Things. Fox’s animated sitcom has experienced a decline in popularity since its debut. There are many that believe it not to be the show and pop culture sensation it once was. Regardless, it’s retained enough of a fanbase to ensure constant renewals. Homer and family will be returning for season 31, with season 32 already confirmed to follow. The show will also soon make the jump to Disney, with every episode scheduled to be available on their upcoming streaming service.

Stranger Things became a surprise hit when season 1 was released in 2016. Emulating popular movies of the 1980s and the works of Stephen King, the series has since gone on to achieve bonafide cultural phenomenon status. Garnering both award nominations and record numbers for Netflix, the show made household names of its stars – including Finn Wolfhard (IT Chapter Two) and Millie Bobby Brown (Godzilla: King of the Monsters). The upcoming third season will see the small town of Hawkins once again beset by all manner of conspiracies and creatures.

According to IKEA, fans will now be able to purchase sets allowing them to convert their homes to match their favorite shows. Listed under ‘Rooms For Families’, ‘Rooms For Mates’, and ‘Rooms For Everyone’, the available sets replicate The Simpsons’ living room, Monica’s apartment from Friends, and Will Byers’ house, respectively. There’s no word yet on whether any other iconic designs will eventually be replicated, but the range of potential designs is endless. Images of each currently available design can be seen below:

Despite airing its final episode over a decade ago, Friends remains as popular as ever. Netflix acquired the streaming rights not too long ago, introducing the series to a whole new generation. Despite the fact it originally aired on NBC and episodes air frequently on other channels around the world, it’s come to be considered somewhat of a Netflix staple. One of the core issues people had with the show, was just how Monica was able to live in such a lavish looking apartment. Thanks to IKEA, however, it would seem that any fan can choose to live in a similar fashion – if they are willing to put it together, that is.

Similarly, the opportunity to recreate or invent your own couch gags is sure to be a source for much amusement. Given what happened to the Byers family in season 1, however, it’ll take a truly brave soul to even consider lounging in a similar-looking room. There’s no denying how flawlessly accurate the replicated designs are, however. The advertising for the designs doesn’t link it to a celebration of any one show, be it The Simpsons landmark amount of seasons or the imminent return of Stranger Things. But it’s perfectly timed. Fandoms are increasingly more passionate and binge-watching television shows is at an all-time peak. As such, the idea of spending hours in a specially-crafted living room while watching countless episodes of their favorite show – which ever it may be – is sure to be appealing to many a diehard fan.

The Simpsons returns for season 31 this fall on FOX; Stranger Things returns to Netflix for season 3 on July 4.
