Spoilers ahead for Reacher season 2 episode 4
Reacher‘s Alan Ritchson reacts to that episode 4 cameo. The action drama based on Lee Child’s books officially returned for a second installment on December 15, introducing Ritchson’s titular hero to a new mystery and surrounding him with familiar faces from his past. But the show’s most recent episode welcomes back Finlay (Malcolm Goodwin), a fan-favorite from season 1.
Ritchson reacted to Finlay’s return in an interview with TVLine, admitting he “screamed” while reading the script. Check out his quote below:
“I screamed, too, when I saw his name in the script. I couldn’t wait to have him back. […] It really felt special, [given the] different setting, different place, different characters, and completely different circumstances. To have [Malcolm] back on set felt like magic. There was lightning in a bottle from Season 1, for sure.”
