Marvel’s Hulk is about to get angrier than ever before, as his rage will reach a new level in his upcoming series. In a new solicit for Hulk #1 by Marvel Comics, the Jade Giant’s rage will become uncontrollable, and not even the Avengers will be able to stop him. So, for those looking to see the Hulk smash things, you’re in luck.
The Hulk’s anger and rage have always defined the character, as the madder he gets, the more powerful he becomes. In Al Ewing and Joe Bennett’s Immortal Hulk series, the green monster’s gamma mutate origin and connection to the Green Door have been explored and added exciting new elements to the hero’s backstory. However, in the next chapter of the Hulk, the hero will no longer be immortal and will succumb to his anger more than ever before. Donny Cates, Ryan Ottley, and Frank Martin’s Hulk will take the character to the height of his rage.
Readers got a glimpse of Hulk #1 in a preview in Free Comic Book Day, as the longtime Avenger faced off against M.O.D.O.K. as he declared he wanted to leave the planet. In the new solicits from Marvel Comics, the synopsis teases the Hulk’s uncontrollable rage will reach an all-new level and that the no longer immortal hero will be next to impossible to contain. Additionally, the solicit asks the question of whether people should be afraid of the Hulk or is there something that’s missing with the Jade Giant? Check out the cover for the debut issue from artist Ryan Ottley.
